Actually I did a run through the bazaar and bought a bunch of opal steins for cheap... a few minutes later I got a tell from the trader wondering about the rush on them ... told him and then told him to raise prices /grins.

Was able to do a 33 combine run on Tae Ew Shields. Made 30, got 3 skill ups to end at 246, and turned 29 in at 22862 fp each over 2 characters.
I'm sitting pretty with FP for a good while

Opal steins had to be fired before the tribute masters came down. They are worth 24 tribute points after they came back from their retreat with the Norrathian Humanoid Resource staff.Distracted Druid Storm Warden of JinXed on Vazaelle

Incase people are still wondering about this. First they nerfed the value of items, then they are working on reducing everyone's FP's to the value they would have got post nerf.I don't think they would wipe favor points, they would be kind of obligated to return all the items traded and I don't think they would have made a data base of that. FP are expendable, so it is not like it matters with one days worth of items do.
Basically, a double nerfage.
So while you can currently use the thousands of FPs you should not have got, they will be taken away down to the lvl you were meant to have. Expect the next patch soon.
