    Question:

Do you have to have GoD to use the tribute system? I don't have it yet (likely won't get it until next week), but I've got a few items I'd really like to dump.

My trader sold 10 fletching geerloks and 3 JC geerloks all to the same person overnight. I was baffled as to why. Can anyone check the tribute they give as I am stuck at work. hehe

Ohhhh I need to stop my trader and adjust my prices. LOL
And I want to get GoD right now! This is definately heaven sent for tradeskillers struggling to make money for the next bunch of skill ups.

Well... it may have all come crashing down:

Animated bait, 3cp to make, make-able even for non-gnomes, 1,180 points.

Finally, something for the 20 or so stacks of Ethereal Metal Rings on my trader. I hope they don't nerf this soon.

It's pretty amusing, I picked up tons of 20-50 plat items in the bazaar today that gave 1k -1500 points each. I'm sure most of them had been sitting around for ages, since there were many multiples all at low low prices. If SOE wanted to get rid of all the extra junk floating around, they found an excellent way to do so.

I believe so. I haven't put GoD on my account yet, and I tried interacting with the Tribute dude in Felwithe (found via Find). I could go through the hails and she would chat with me - upon trying to give her an item, I got a message (exactly) "This NPC cannot accept items directly, right-click if you wish to make transactions." Right clicking yielded nothing - no consider message, no error message, no vendor/trader/banking/anything interface, nada. I'm guessing right clicking only works for the GoD-enabled folks, and that's how they managed to encode the restriction (makes sense, since right-click-only-works-for-some is a feature they've had for a long time, ala dubious vendors and wrong class GMs).

Ok wow, yeah, that is a little bit of a lot over the top. Giving tradeskilled items an edge is one thing but that was just absurd. Until the bait was found it did go a nice job of cleaning out the bazaar of unwanted items though. For the first time in, well, a very long time I saw arctic wyvern items up for 400pp minimum. But being able to get that many points that fast is definiately not good for balance, as amusing as running around with nice buffs like that was.

Now the question is whether SOE will just leave everyone's fp as they are or wipe all of them?

The next question being, naturally, what cheap/common item will SOE overlook when they put the tribute system back live again

Aside: I think I must have made about 1K from selling junk (and it was junk) off of my bazaar trader last night. I wonder if the person who bought it all (was mainly one person) managed to turn it all in before the tribute masters got depopped.

I don't think they would wipe favor points, they would be kind of obligated to return all the items traded and I don't think they would have made a data base of that. FP are expendable, so it is not like it matters with one days worth of items do.

And there I spent dragging Fine steel weapons and Giant snake fangs, while all I had to do was get some fishing grubs.

45k favor, good for several hundred hours of spell haste or FT5.

well, most items I ran into were decently priced, but to my idea, they should award you the NPC vendor sales value of the Item. (not the buy value)

                                Was great incentive

Finally gave me incentive to get through opal steins!! All I can say is the interface made me happy with how easy it was to make them and fire them (without hunting through every bag I had) and then turning them in instead of destroying gave me the motivation (have been over 200 for over 2 years LOL).

Gave em to friends, gave em to alts, lots and lots of favor and a little bit closer to getting the skill all the wy up.
