For what price do they sell back? Sounds like the CVT as a bazaar market just dried up. I wonder if some folks are stuck with stuff they made at 9pp.

Are you saying he sells for only 5p now?

If so that cuts down on heraldic costs.

5p? After I paid 300-400k for the thousands I bought at 25p each BEFORE you could make em at less than half-price?

            /sigh

I'm getting too old for this....

No, it just changed from a tradeskiller's market to an importer's market. Some people will still pay a premium to avoid having to make the run to Thurgadin. Grab a few stacks in Thurgadin, drop them on your trader, price them with a reasonable mark up over the vendor price and you'll sell plenty of them.

Of course, the market will determine what people will pay for the convenience. My guess is that you'll still be able to charge enough for them to justify the trip if you deal in sufficiently large volume.

Why not do what I do and just have an alt toon parked in Thurg.
Its no problem at all to log him in, buy the tempers and stick them in the shared bank.

                Cheers

I would love to so this but, unfortunately, all my shared bank spaces are filled with meats, hides, gems, etc. etc.

I usually have no choice but to make the run to Thurg to get those. It's one of two factions I will never lose because of the tradeskills. Luckily, I can make a run to Thurg fairly quickly thanks to the PoK stones.

Question: if the NPC cost is indeed just under 6pp has the cost to make them yourself been reduced to not cost more than that?

Given that they were busy churning out an expansion, I'm going to say probably not. If it isn't changed yet, /bug it and give it a bit

Not sure if anyone else is seeing it like this, but anyone in the bazaar trying to dump them for the 5p cost now is just screaming EXPLOIT.

Nobody in their right mind would put them below 9p (cost) anyways. Nothing I loved seeing than five people in the bazaar with 400-600 CVTs @ 10pp/ea.

Yeah, sadly enough, I'm guilty of buying those "illegal goods", but hey, 219 tailoring...still so much left to do! Hehe
