When your cooking hits 250....you don't get any more increases do you?

The skill stops advancing is what i'm asking.
Probably very obvious, but I thought i'd ask.

Correct.

You will not get any more skillups in a particular skill once that skill reaches 250.

You have no idea how many times I've heard people come into the EQTraders channel, and complain..


"I didn't realize that XYZ was trivial, and I did 45 combines past that point!"

"I wasn't Paying attention and I just did 60 combines past 250!"

Or maybe it was 200... *shrug*

I see 200 a lot. Where people forget they can only get one skill to 250 before AA's. So they get stuck at 200 for an insane number of combines...

Hasn't happened to me yet but...

It was one of those things where I just knew the answer was that it stopped at 250, but then I began to second guess myself.

After the week I had with 2 toons (both druids, which was surprising for me as every druid I know knows recipes).....

wanted a "Ceramic Sword of Valor" after telling him several times that there was a "Ceramic Sword of War" and a "Ceramic Shield of Valor" he insisted I make him a Ceramic Sword of Valor".

After screaming at him numerous times, I pointed him here... to EQTraders.

Sorry to derail, but that quote was just to true.... now if we could just get people to realize that 240+ geerlok = 250 <sigh>
