          Shot in the dark: There is a NPC at the SRo LDoN camp asking for "broken" gems... I haven't found any info on what that NPC does when you hand him "broken" gems, has anybody tried with Powdered Ivory?

            Isn't that the NPC you're supposed to give bought augmentations you haven't used to, if you want to get the points back?

              The reason I brought it here in search of an answer is two fold
              1. I looted this a few weeks back and I remember it saying it was for tradeskills along with it being no drop...
              No one in group knew what tradeskill it was used for so I tossed one in my pack to research later.

              This week was the later, because on another EF adventure...2 more dropped...and as you can see from post above the tradeskill part is removed. Or at least I thought it did because of the discussion in group we had at the time it dropped.

              anywho something to keep an eye on at least

                I wonder if its Akin to the black powder from Mistmoore. That is No Drop also.

                  I recall looking for this before. If I remember right it's needed for an iksar quest to regain your newbie tunic.

                    No. To get back your iksar newbie items (the class based quest stuff you dont need tunics) you do the penance quest.

                      The gnome in South Ro talking about broken gems is the one you turn in augments that you mistakenly purchased to. He will refund the AP points you spent on the augment.

                      He will take only unused auguments, not AP purchased gear or regular gear that has been augmented. On FV he is used to sell AP points.


                      And if you read the patch messages. He was mentioned who he was where he was and what he was for.
