My main is a Paladin. For my tradeskills, obviously, I'm going to be using Wis gear, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for, and how much its going to cost. For Smithing, I use Strength (I'm a Dwarf, a buff in PoK sets me for about an hour of smithing). But for other tradeskills, like brewing, I'm completely lost. What should I be shopping for? How much cash am I looking to spend?

Sandblasted plate/chain is fairly cheap on most servers, so that's be a good place to start for a thrifty tradeskill suit. Other than that, just keep checking the bazaar.Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.
Gelcea Macha, Wandering Animist of Tarew Marr. Will be a smith, one day.

First of the baz search function is your friend. Set it to wisdom palladin then search each slot. You can get many items with several wis for a few hundred plat.
good examples(sol ro)...
admantite epualets 7 wis 350p
mace of the fallen crusader 8 wis 50p
otmir fur cap 6wis 30p
Other stuff to look at.
velium/plat jasper rings
acyrlia studded cloak
both trade skilled
Also if you have a large buget
Sheild of banewarding
bracelet of sense
Finally few no drop items
testement of venear( extremely easy 10 wis offhand)
axograths belt of defense (yes this is dropped off lvl 56mobs, but if someone is hunting in maidens eye it often rots. It is an extremely good belt for even a mid 50s palladin and may be worth your effort to sit in zone and ask for looting rights if someone is killing the centi....play by ear)
Good luck

You can also do this to search for foods and drinks that can increase your wisdom. These can be an inexpensive way to get an extra 5-10 points of wisdom, just remember to force feed some of your regular food/drink before you move the +WIS food/drink up to your first bag.First of the baz search function is your friend. Go with stat food...
For your forcefeeding food, consider getting Fizzlecutters from Ping in West Freeport, at the tent just after you zone in from East Commons, to your right. You can also do this to search for foods and drinks that can increase your wisdom. For food make Fish Rolls by combining Fresh Fish (caught or bought, bought from the dude at the dock in Rivervale for instance) and a Batwing. Batwings are available from the Erudite woman in the building to the right of the last Inn before the zone from East Commons to West Commons.
It's a long lasting combination, and if you get Metabolism 3 in one of your basic AA skills, you'll cut food consumption in half.
You can't afford to overlook Qeynos Afternoon Teas and Misty Thicket Picknics for WIS (stat food), you'll be glad you did, if you need WIS.

This is for those high enough out there to hunt in ME.
There are 2 mobs with some great Wis Gear

Wisdom Gear for the Parsimonious
My suggestions for wisdom items that a level thirty paladin can get either by hunting or on the cheap:
Black Alloy Medallion: this drops in the bottom of the Runnyeye Citadel, which you can reach with a group in their thirties. +5 WIS neck item, and the zone has a big experience modifier.
Jasper Gold Earring: +3 WIS earring, which a jewelcrafting friend can make easily for the 11 pp in parts. Less than 20 pp in the Bazaar, for faster acquisition.
Platinum Jasper Ring: Not cheap, but each ring uses 111 pp in materials and is +6 WIS.
Acrylia Studded Mask: Cheap in the Bazaar or off of tailoring merchants. +5 WIS face, and people make them by the pound for practice, so they're cheap and easy to find.
Peridot Encrusted Stein: +3 WIS for each hand, and cheap as dirt if you can find a friendly master potter.
Pouch of Kejek Catnip: Forget picnics, you can get these for cheaper, and they also give +5 WIS. To get your own, check the "Cherries for Miranda Quest" and then buy up the Chocolate Marr Cherries in the Bazaar, or make them yourself if you're a baker. Usually about a quarter of the price of picnics, and for a level 30 paladin the trip isn't excessively dangerous.
Qeynos Afternoon Tea: Not cheap, but if you're careful about force-drinking to preserve them, you can't get an easier +5 WIS.
Charred Guardian Shield: +9 WIS in your off hand, so you can still use your Geerlok if you like. Not cheap per se, but not too pricey for the boost.
Underfoot Defender's Gear: Put your pride in the bank, and go to the Temple of Brell in North Kaladim. Chat with your guildmasters, and get the quests for your newbie gear. It's not going to compare to your adventuring gear, but each piece that has a bit of wisdom can be had for free, and you'll find a lot of folks here with a separate tradeskilling suit in the bank.
There you go. That'll get you started at least. I'll end with one last piece you should consider:
Argent Protector: It's big, and very expensive, but if you have to bankrupt yourself and go six feet into hock to get it, you'll be happy you did. +10 WIS and +10 STR on one of the best blades a paladin can weild, and it's even useful for stuff other than tradeskills!

check if anyone has sea dragon meat in the bazaar. quest is fishing stuff and that meat. 15 wis pri/sec/range item i think. still looking for it though.

Sorry if some of these have been mentioned:
Razor Edged Shan'tok has +8 Wis, rec 45. The Delightful Orb of Forgotten Magic has +12 but is Rec 60 and primary only (means no gearlok). I use the later as my 1Hb but the wis is a nice extra.
For the +9 WIS, Golden Efreeti Boots work out to be a good bargain at 2K or less.
Ditto on the Eye of the Griffon at +10 wis for 2K or less, though watch your CHA.
The new Polished Quartz Neck item, Velium Polished Quartz Necklace is +8 Wis, I think, and is probably cheap enough these days.Andyhre playing Guiscard, 78th-level Ranger, E`ci (Tunare)
Master Artisan (2100 Club), Wielder of the Fully Functional Artisan's Charm, Proud carrier of the 8th shawl
with occasion to call upon Gnomedeguerre, 16th-level Wizard, Master Tinker, E`ci (Tunare)
and in shouting range of Vassl Ofguiscard, 73rd-level Enchanter, GM Jewelcrafter, E`ci (Tunare)
