  • Feir'Dal Recipes

    Hiyas all,

I've been looking thru the recipes and can't seem to find anything that uses the Feir`Dal Needle. I've got 4 that someone made and said they were useable by anyone in tailoring. If anyone could direct me to some of the recipes that uses the needle, I would be most grateful.

If you go to the main site.. you will see an entry field. Type in the item (in this case enter 'Needle'), hit the -Find- button. You will see all of the needles in the database.

This includes the 'Feir'dal Needle'. Click on that name.

This gives you a description of how to make it, and a link 'Find recipes that use this item'.

Click on that link. You will then get a list of all of the recipes that the Needle is a component of.

For this item, there are a total of six recipes.

The sad news is, that for each of those recipes, the Needle is returned, success or failure. So you really only need one. The extra 3 are of no use to you.

Also note, these recipes are only useable by High Elves (Feir'dal). If you are not one... sorry you got suckered.

*boggle* High Elves are not Feir'Dal, those are wood elves. High Elves are Koada'Dal.

OK ... then are the six recipes only makeable by Wood Elves?

Being one of the Scaley Persuasion, I get confused by all these high-falutten names you silly soft-skinned pointy ear types use for yourselves.

actually, whomever named the items named them incorrectly, since the Feir'Dal needles and pattern are only usable by High Elves.

OK Recipes are correct... and only the High Elves can make them... just the names of the needle is wrong... should be Koada'dal Needle?

yup yup. It's named incorrectly in the game, unfortunately. Maybe put a /bug in SOE's ear?

                Thanks

Thanks you guys.. and no not really suckered.. it was a very small trade hehe. I think it was a couple of tainted essences and the guy was giving them away and I was clearing out some bank space to get rid of things. I'll see if I want to start tailoring on my high elf one day LoL

from the EQlive site, on races:

The High Elves, also known as the Koada`Dal, are regarded as the closest relatives of the original Norrathian Elves created by Tunare, Mother of All.

                    and...

The Wood Elves, or Feir`Dal, are more accepting of others than their cousins, the High Elves.

                    Just for ammo ;-)
