To follow up, what's the easy way out of CS if you're a non-gating class? Or do you have to do that the hard way?

well if you have OK COV faction you can run through skyshrine. The key is not needed to go from CS to skyshrine. Its only needed to go from skyshrine to CS.

Invis might work but I am not sure on whether or not there are see invis mobs on the way through skyshrine or not.

I certainly hope they put them back up. I hate making CVT's they are worse than making CE's.

        Well...

On Xegony anyway, it's currently cheaper to buy CVTs (18-20p each on a good find) from players than it was to buy 'em from the Coldain.

Worker Sledgemallet, vial of velium vapo(u)rs, vial of swirling smoke, etc, etc are the easy way out. Running through SS is the more tedious way.

They have always sold in the bazaar for less than what you would pay to buy em off the vendor. They cost about 1/2 as much if you make them by hand than if you were to buy them from a vendor. In addition to what you would normally see you are probably still seeing some leftovers from the exploit that got them removed from the vendor in the first place.

Not always. I used to toss up a stack or so of CVT for 45pp on my vendor. If no one had cheaper in the bazaar, mine would sell.

Edit: that's 45pp each, not per stack.

From my experience, I would have to agree with KyrosKrane - they usually sold for far more than 26pp in the bazaar. I've seen people pricing them in the range from 35-100pp, and the people in the ~30-70pp range had inventory numbers fluxuate enough they were definitely selling (either that, or they were working REALLY hard to make it look like they were ). I've also run across people who were talking about buying them in the bazaar, citing prices around 50pp as "standard".

If you do out the pricing, at 26pp/temper its generally more profitable just to sell the Celestial Essences. Most cvt sellers (pre mass influx from 0pp tempers) realize this pretty quickly, and either jack up their price to something more worthwhile or get out of the market.

Nowadays though, I've stayed far away from the CVT market - its too odd.

They have been 8-12p in the bazaar on Innoruuk. Maybe the folks who took advantage of the free ones still have them in stock or something.
