    cvt's

    Well I checked out thurg after the patch and our friendly merchant there is still out of CVt's. So we still need to make them by hand.

    I also noticed there is another patch scheduled for tonight, hopefully he will get some new stock in then.

    Don't quote me on it but rumor has it he will never get any more CVTs. It was meant to stay a player made item and this SoE "fixed" it. Boy I'm glad I'm done using them in mass quantities

      I would assume that before it was patched to the prod servers, he would have to be restocked on Test. And the little turd is still out on test

        Just to do it, I tried running my enchanter from POK stone in GD, through Kael, Wakening Lands, Skyshrine to get to Cobalt Scar and it told me I needed a key so I bugged it since the key's no longer spawn at the dragon circles.

        How are you supposed to make CVT if you can't get a druid/wizard to port you to Cobalt Scar? I have a druid so I can port there and pick it up, but not everyone has a druid or can find a ride when they need it.

          The Key from SS ---> CS is a quest.


          You get it by either completing a quest for some guy in SS, or killing him.


          And the easy way to CS now, short of actually relying on a fellow player, is PoK---->GD---->PoM------>CS

              The Key from SS ---> CS is a quest.
              You can also just kill the drake for it.

                You can get to Cobalt Scar from Plane of Mischief. Zone into PoM from Great Divide and preferably invisible ... zone out is near the zone in ... click on the tree near location -1015 -365. Just remember that you will zone into CS in the middle of the zone underwater.

                      Other end of the river to Thurgardin entrance.
                      It got moved in the (first) revamp of PoM.

                        So, probably the cause of the "free cvt" bug in the first place is that they were trying to remove it and failed :-).
