I'm wondering if I should pre-order it (like I have done with most expansions) or if there are going to be surprise "freebies" like with LDoN (Satchel of Abu`Kar, the keychain, etc.) for those that buy the boxed retail copy.Stugein

The digital download option only means that you can choose to purchase it for download only. It doesn't mean that there is no boxed version. If you'll note, many of the other expansions are available as both boxed versions and Digital Downloads -- and ironically, the boxed version is often cheaper, if you ignore shipping costs.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade

I read the blurb that was downloaded this morning, and it specifically stated that it will be availabel for both download, and physical shipment.

I am planning to order it. I am not planning to pre-order and pre-download files for awhile yet. Remember how buggy the last one was, where people went from level 65 to level 50 from dying? They fixed it in a few days, but that's not my idea of a good time.

If it's available in a box, I will get it in a box. I could care less about the keychain that came with LDoN, but I like my freebie AkuBar bag that came with it...and having the CD to load the software from again.

Ok, LoY and LDoN, you saved like $6-$8 if you downloaded. What incentive to download is there now?

Convenience. You don't have to go to a store, buy a box, take it home, waste time on the installation, recycle the trash, and so forth. I'd take download over a box any day.Originally posted by Bregalad

In a few months' time, the updated files won't even remotely resemble the files on the CD, so you'll likely have to re-download most of them anyway. So what's the point of keeping the CD? If you ever need to reinstall, the patcher can download all of the files for you.Originally posted by Chenier
