  • Essence prices on your server

    I am just working my through smithing and have reached the stage of making cultural needles. So far I have managed my gains with a minimum of expense ... not much choice, I do not have rich high level alts to fund my tradeskilling. But In the guide for smithing that I am using, it suggests that the foraged/fished items might go for up to 1pp each. I can tell you on Morrell Thule, that seems far from the truth. From my window shopping the last few days, 5pp seems the lowest price I see with some reaching as high as 20pp per item. Is this really the going prices for cinnamon or deadbone barley? I curious to see what the prices are on other servers.

    Folks on Stromm are also charging outlandish (my opinion) for those cultural needle items (deadbone barley, cinnamon sticks, etc.). I just went to Ak'Anon and fished for clockwork koi for a while (and worked on other skills at the same time). Had a couple of stacks in a couple of hours.

    I did buy some cinnamon sticks in the bazaar when folks had the price around 1 plat.

      cinamon stick are also used in baking from 191 to 202.

      the sell back on cutural needles have been nerfed. go to erud's crossing or aknon for the fish if you just want that.

        Okay lets talk about dye forage stuff. On Brell they are asking 60pp for ONE frigging plains root, now come on, is that even fair? I am tempted to just forage with my necro and sell them for 10pp just to undercut the market. Sal

          You can't forage with necro.

          Besides, its not about "fair". Its about what the market will pay. If the price is 1pp, no one would bother supply forage item to the market. But there are enough high levels that can and will pay. So if you can forage, good way to make some extra cash. If you can't afford it, go get your own. There is an unlimited supply out there. {Removed}

            Iksars can forage - it's a racial skill for them, not related to the class of the character.

            My Ikky shammy can forage as well, I just wish it wasn't capped at 50.

              {Personal attack removed} I am not whining simply venting. And if you will notice I did get my Iksar necro whom you are mistaken CAN forage even if it is poorly to go get them.

                    Knock it off. There is no reason to provoke each other and no reason to use personal attacks. If you have something negative to say it had better be about an issue or a situation and not about another person. Using blatantly negative terms to describe what someone has done is as good as a personal attack. Don't do it.
