Trophy Upgrade...is this possible?

Finished my first two trophies a couple of days ago...Tinkering and JC...and when I went to turn in the summoned bag to obtain my carryall, I noticed when you hail the gnome, a set of text follows that leads me to think the trophies can now be upgraded (poison making was not mentioned in the text../cry). The text said to basically do the same combine you did for your trophy but insert your present trophy in place of artisan seal, and you would receive a "new" trophy.

Does anyone know of or have any information on the quests necessary to upgrade tradeskill trophies? I've browsed here and cannot find anything on this. Hoping to have a few more trophies in the near future so would sure like any info now, to get started.

Any help would be mightily appreciated =))

Heh, seriously. WAY back when trophies were first introduced, there was some problem or other with them that I can't recall right now. So, they made the gnome able to accept the old one with the problem, and give you one like what we have today.

So, the one's you have now are as good as they get.

When Trophies were first available to make, they were not LORE, and did not summon bags.

I think they gave 10% to your skill instead of 5%.

Other than that, the stats were the same.

That text is for someone who wants to turn in an old trophy for the new ones that summon bags.

No old trophies can be created anymore.

Actually, they only gave a 5% skill modifier, just as the current version does.

As I recall, the old trophies were also not lore, so you could have more than one of a particular type.
