Geerloks

Do benefits from geerloks and tradeskill trophies stack? i.e. will you get any beneift from equipping a trophy and a geerlok as opposed to one or the other?

I have heard differing views on this. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this?

Once you are at 250 there is no benefit to using a geerlok other than to get the last two points (effective 252).

This of itself is sufficient reason to do it if you are working on an expensive combine. It's one thing if you are just dealing with something cheap you can easily recreate if you fail. However, fail on that 50k elemental bow combine without using a geerlok, and you'll just KNOW you missed by one percentage point.
