Distilled Mana Spell Bug???

Not sure where this "Distill Mana Bug" should be posted First ?
is, has anyone else encountered this?
Bought 20 Sapphires, 10 poison vials. Casting Mass Distill Mana,
I made 3 stakcs of 5 Distilled Mana's. On next cast I get a msg
saying I do not have any Sapphires. (Actually have 5 left) Tried
single Distill Mana Spell, same msg, "No Sapphires"
Bought 10 more Sapphires (15 in pack now), cast Mass Distill
Mana, vola, made 5 Distilled Mana's. Cast again, get msg sayiing
"no Sapphires" (10 in pack). Bought 10 more sapphires (20 in pacl
now). Cast Mass Distill Mana, vola, 1 stack of Distilled Mana.
Cast again, msg saying No Sapphires (15 in pack now). Now this
is driving me crazier than I usually am and is also hurting my
bank account. I've tried different zones, tried logging off and on,
tried handing all my Sapphires toa friend and logging off and on -
getting Sapphires back from Friend --same msg -no Sapphires.
Put Sapphires in bank, took out - no change -- put Sapphires in
Bank -logged off -on --no change. Doesn't matter if I use the Single
or Mass Distill Mana Spell, I get same results. Now .. using other
Single and Mass Create item spells, I am not having these problems,
just Distill Mana. Have sent in 4 bug reports. Any ideas??

Some of the things you describe do sound like bugs, but keep in mind that you have to have *ten* sapphires (and five poison vials) to cast Mass Distill Mana. The first time you tried, you said you had bought 20 and then cast three times, and then failed on the fourth; it's possible that the bug is actually that it's not taking *enough* sapphires from your inventory, and then something on the client and something on the server are out of sync, and it appears that you have sapphires in your inventory but the server doesn't think so.

Just a guess...

distilled mana is 2 sapphires and 1 vial.

One cast of mass distilled takes 10 sapphires and 5 vials.

20 sapphires and 10 vials is 2 casts.

No way could you cast it 3 times on 20 sapphires and still have 5 left.

Unless, of course, spell is bugged and actually consumes only 5 sapphires per cast.
