  • New to the forums

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, so I'll apologize ahead of time if I haven't.

I wanted to introduce myself, and also wanted to thank all the folks here who have helped me tremendously throughout my sporadic tradeskilling career.

My name is Elinea, and I've called Tarew Marr my home since the beginning of EQ in March of 1999. Since I'm in an intensely raid driven guild, I don't have time to invest in a lot of work on tradeskills. It's taken me about...oh...4 years to get about half of my tradeskills into the 190-ish range. I've always come to EQ Traders for my recipes and trivial guides, but I never realized there was a forum here until recently (shame on me, I know).

Since I found the boards, I have pored over just about every word written here and I wanted to take the time now to thank everyone for all the great advice you've unknowingly given me

If anyone ever needs the skills of half crazed (soon to be fully certifiable) wood elf druid on Tarew Marr, please look me up

Sorry, I've already claimed tarew Marr as my own.

      Only one druid allowed, sorry.

Movelog to Sullon Zek, or I shall pelt you with rubber chickens and snow bunny meat!

          Listen here, lass...

There's only room for ONE lunatic on this server, and I am he.

In other words, you must keep your sanity, for I lost mine a long time ago.

But yes, welcome to the boards and always feel free to stop by the most intellectually stimulating chat channel in all of EQ, serverwide.eqtraders:eqtraders, for fun conversations (sometimes about tradeskills, other times not) and generally good humor. Just watch out for the guy named Noishpa, he gets a little cranky.

I'm going to hijack Elinea's thread and say hello too!

I've been using EQTraders for a long time now, and I finally decided to start posting. You guys rock, and have helped fuel the addiction.

By the way Elinea, where in Alaska are you from? I was raised in Fairbanks.

            So anyway, hi everyone!

As requested, I will do my best to leave the insanity to you Phabos I am only going to spend 1 day a week on my combines and the rest of the time relaxing and not thinking about that little ...click, click, click, ...<twitches>

Anyway... after my husband and I both spent hours today doing all the subcombines required to attempt 200 solstice robes...and getting one (count it ONE) skillup, I'm taking the rest of the week off to nurse my sore wrist =/

Lanalia, its nice to meet you as well I am a transplant from New Jersey actually, and have been living in Girdwood, an itty bitty town just south of Anchorage for the past five years. Are ya still in AK?

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving (if ya celebrate it) as I won't be around for a few days

Elinea, that's so weird that you live in Girdwood - a guildmate of mine lives there, too! I go to college in NC now, but I love going home to visit family.

/comfort at the sore wrist. I think I got carpal tunnel GMing baking with MTPs, so I understand your pain. Just wish you would have gotten more than one skillup out of it! /comfort again
