Well on cazic there is one trader cornering the market and selling em for 5 pp each. After he runs out of stock I am sure the prices will skyrocket. Dunno how many he has sold or how many he has left but he's usually up half of the day everyday and has been since a day or two after the bug. All the other people selling are asking 20pp+ but I doubt they will be selling theirs till he runs out of stock.

5p or 10p would be sooo nice. On rathe I'm lucky to find them for 25p (my highest buy price I'll go) they are going for around 40p each most of the time.

At the time Nimren popped up selling for 0, I had a character parked in Thurgadin for the sole purpose of buying copies of Enchant Vellium and CVTs. My main's KOS to Coldain, and my smithing was at 216 or something, so really I was buying as I needed in chunks of 40 or so.

When I heard the price came up with 0, my thought process basically said "Oh poo. Now they're going to permakill the vendor for the next 3 weeks, and there's no other way to get the spell." So I stocked up a character with spells, then moved another to grab CVTs while I could... the idea was to last me through the outage.

Of course, I overgrabbed since I managed hitting 220 smithing in short order. I gave away a couple stacks of the CVT and all my extra spells to guildies who were working smithing and feeling twitchy. The rest of them I don't plan on selling, I'm just going to have a stock to use (or give to friends) until I run out.

Perhaps on prod servers you have a plethora of folks who live to port to CS and buy algae to make tempers for you -- but on Test the number of 'legitimate temper makers/sellers' can be counted on one hand...

What are you talking about Walking to CS via PoM? The only way I know into CS is either with a port or via Wakening lands through Skyshrine (If you are not KOS) and then you need a key to activate the Statue.

According to the www.planeofmischief.com forum FAQ...

The new Zone In spot for the PoM is the far south end of the river in GD (opposite end from Thurgaden). It's also close to the succor point for GD.

It drops you on a floating pad in the edge of the forest.

Sneak/Hide as soon as you land.

With clip plane up a bit, look toward the castle and you'll see the "fake" ramp to the castle, about half way between zone in and that ramp is the zone out. It is on the floor or the forest and unmarked.

From the zone in pad, click toward the ramp and you'll get "can not click from here" messages.. Just move toward castle till you zone.. If you stop getting the messages and have not zoned, you missed it.

The Zone Out drops you in Cobalt Scar at 0,0 which is dead smack in the sea underwater so don't go /afk while zoning. And hope that a certain Dragon is not up.

The zone out tree is at -1015, -365. It is roughly equidistant between the zone in "blue thingy" and fake bridge in castle front. Just run NORTH from the zone in clicking trees if something is chasing after you.

I think that I may have been the only person who stocked up on the free tempers when the vendor was available on Rallos Zek. There are only ever 2 people in the bazaar with them for sale. One of those people has 2 for sale at 150p each, then there is my merchant with 156 at 22p.
Am I making a profit off of unearned goods? Yes
Am I trying to exploit the lack of a vendor? No
Since the changes which perma-killed the vendor and the subsequent removal of the tempers from the vendor I have sold maybe 500 tempers. That's what....1 month or so? I'm sure that there are people who are greatful that 1) they don't have to make the tempers themselves and 2) are getting them for cheaper than they would have if the merchant were still around.
Hate me as you will, I'm trying to make the best of the situation.
500 so far, that leaves about 7000 scattered on 3 alts (ogre was too big to fit in the door ). I'm sure the few tradeskillers on RZ will dread the day when I run out and people start gouging or the get a bit more of a wrist work-out.

Not gonna lie I was very tempted to stock up on the tempers. I was prolly the first person to find out about them on my server. I was working on my issue kit for my 8th shawl and went to buy em and seen it. The reason I didn't was that I did not want to take a chance of getting a toon that I had spent 7 months leveling get suspeneded.

I've never been hard up for cash usually in EQ. Say 1 in 5 LDON adventures I usually win a item from a boss that sells for 3-5k plat not including the 100-200 pp cash at the end. I do usually 2 adventures a day especially if they are with a good group and we blow through the first. So your looking at 7k at least a week. I also forage in ldon the gargoyle granite sells for around 60-100 pp each and I usually forage 4 a adventure in MMC. the geodes sell well as does the polished quartz.

Ahh, is working now. I could not buy any Tempers for the Coldain Dwarf in Thurg. I could not get any info on why he no longer sold. I headed to the bazaar and WOW, look some Rube is selling a massive amount for just under 10pp each! I started thinking, "Hmm, Maybe Verant knows that there are a few tradeskillers left in the game who do not have carpel tunnel yet, so obviously they decided to make VCT's player made only!" I purchased something like 1500 VCT's for 10ish pp each over two days. "Gee how did she make so many????" Now I find out that they were stolen, (or should I say aquired via a bug exploit). What should I do now? Obviously Verant will go on a headhunt. Hopefully between my logs and their logs, they will figure out that I purchased all of mine from her. I really wish Verant would have immediately took action on this. (how hard can it be to change the price tables?). Does anyone know if the lowlifes were able to sell the VCT's to NPC merchants? If so this might explain the rumors of a few people spending what seems to be unrealistic amounts of money in the bazaar in the past several weeks.

I have hear of 1 GM on one server that has actually done something to the people who took dvantage of this situation. Other than that there was blatant sell of these wares for about a month with no punishment whatsoever. The good thing is that those who were looking for CVT's usually got them for around 5-10 pp so many decent folk were still able to buy them. The bad thing is that when the traders that were selling them really cheap went out of stock the high priced vendors kicked in and tried selling theirs for over 30pp each.
