This morning while smithing in Thurg, I happened to look at the three Underbelly family merchants int he smithing room. I think it was Dalgrim Underbelly, but it may have been Terman, who had the Enchant Velium spell on him, sufficiently high on the list that I could not tell if it was part of his standard inventory, or instead someone had sold some left overs after they finished smithing.

As I had just used the last of my velium bits (got to 197), I did not want to re-jam my bags full of spells to see.

This was on E`ci, btw, perhaps someone on a different server can check the two male Underbelly merchants in the smithing room and see whether the recipe has gotten even easier, as now the last ingredient would be next to the forge. Having said that, I suspect life is not that good.

EDIT: Life is, in fact, not that good. I got an email from someone letting me know he sold the enchant velium spells after he hit the trivial, and when he did so, the merchant was more or less pristine, hence the appearance of being a standard stocked item.

The zone out to CS in Pom is the tree near 1015, -365, just click on or near it on the ground and you should zone. Although be aware it will drop you in the water in CS, so if Kelorek`Dar is up there is a chance of aggroing him.

I dunno... I personally never bought those tempers.
          1. Brewing skill to ~190 is a joke. You can get it there in a day, and spend a total of maybe 100pp.

          2. With all components being purchaseable, it is really not hard. Brown algae is tradeable. Make a trip to CS, buy 20 stacks of it, and drop on a storage mule via shared bank. Aye, pain for those on FV, but then, IMHO only masochists play there anyway.

          3. Yes, 6 combines to make a temper, but 4 out of these are no-fail, and if you fail the higher failable one, you don't need to redo other 4. Last batch I brewed, about 5 fails for 4 stacks.

i see your point. but making the tempers has nothing whatsoever to do with cost or with skill. i have a 250 brewer and i have plenty of plat. it has to do with one thing and one thing only.

            my poor wrist.

i am soooo sick of clicking so much. totally worth it to pay someone else to demolish their little wrist bones and keep my own for the more interesting combines =)

it's either buy my repetitive subcombines, or stop doing trades entirely. guess which one i'll pick?
