  • Skilling up?

What is the best route to take if I want to become a master tradeskiller all around? I want to start with the one that will make me the most profit so I can get money from that to start on next. I have a lvl 55 gnome rogue so I want to also do poison and tinkering, I have done alot in the game but now my next goal is to tackle every tradeskill to master.

    Thanks

Baking or Brewing would be the cheapest to start with. When you get 200+ you can make stat food/drink and sell it to fund your future endevors.

In general, unless you are on a new server, there's no easy way to make a significant amount of money to let you (grand)master every skill. Some tradeskills can still make a fair bit of money once you have skill close to 250, but it's much more likely that you will need a mountain of cash in order to fund your skills, and of course 3 AA per every skill beyond the first that you want to take past 200.

In the limited sense of reaching Master (101) in each tradeskill, it's probably possible to do this for under 5kpp with decent INT.

As a rogue, WIS gear will be easier to come by (the other 2 chain classes are Ranger and Shaman, both WIS classes, so lots of chain armor has WIS on it). Get youe WIS maxed with gear (or if C3 is easy to get on your server, then 255 minus whatever C3 adds).

Brewing is easy, baking isnt too bad, fletching isnt hard but expensive after 202, pottry isnt too bad till after 200.. smithing and tailoring will have you riping your hair out and crying like a baby for a few months.

          c3 adds 25 int/wis i beleive.
brewing to master is fetid esscense, fishing grubs + water. then shar vhal esscense, payala fruit (ground spawn is free) + water. cheap as hell. minotaur hero brews aren't bad if you want to gm.
baking do fish rolls, fresh fish + batwing. (in pok by the fisherman dud. bat wings on guy with clestial solvent i think) patty melts look up recipe.
fletching i wrote a guide that is in the tradeskill guide and ui forum.
blacksmithing use zera's guide or quickly, sharpen weapons, make metal bits, make studs, make dariy spoons, make banded bracer/helm/mail, do ornate brace, electrum bracer, coif, electrum coif, gold coif, gold mail, then fine plate brace/helm/mail then prolly ldon or enchanted velium bits.
tailoring do silk swatches, silk armor, studded, cured silk armor, crystal silk armor, wus. or greyhopper the crystal then wus. you should be able to 1-shot greyhoppers.
fishing use a pole and bait
tinker i am not a gnome
poison i am not a rouge
pot smoking medium jars to 36 then medium bowls to 122 then the various vails to 188 i think
jc read the guide it gets complicated.

Judging by the address in your sig, you want to e-bay items?

But to answer your question I don't think there are any trades left where you will make a "profit" in only getting to master...either in plat or by e-baying.

{Text removed} But thats not the point here, I am boared with hunting day in and out ect ect.. I find tradeskills more fulfilling than that so Im looking for any advice.

Thank you all that have helped me out.

I thought it was 6 AA.

It's 3 AA per level of Tanaan Mastery...

18 AA total to be able to take all 7 base trade skills to 250.
