Help plz with tunare fixing faction !!!!!

well , its been 4 years since i started playing EQ and all i ever wanted since is the the paladin epic , even though it is no longer usefull .

i have a problem , a friend took my paladin to hunt in plane of growth and destroyed his tunare faction thus not allowing me to complete the fiery defender quest , for 2 years i was told i wont be able to complete it without fixing faction somehow .

i need to raise servents of tunare / soldiers of tunare / faydark champions to finish the epic.

im KoS to the muffin quest giver in freeport ( pandos) who i was told can help me with getting my missing factions and complete my epic . the mob im KoS to who i baisicaly need good tunare faction with is : Elia the pure in felwith .

i tryed killing alot of orcs in crushbone to be non kos to pandos whos on faydark champions faction but im still kos , any suggestions ?

Any help on how solving this case would be apreciated .

emerald warriors guild has a quest for shark meat. kill the ones in erudin harbor where they aren't as big. gives you a bag and you put 4 shark meat in and hit combine. not sure on servents but raises the other too. as far as i know the only way to raise fation with tunare court is quest which require you to not be kos to start with. followers of sol ro start kos though so finding that i haven't looked much farther and plan to burn herr forest anyway. have to stay good with elves though so little fires then orcs and shark meat.
also its possible that orcs haven't given you enough faction yet to change you from kos to something less than. if he bottomed or almost bottomed your faction you will not be able to raise it quickly. cov faction takes kael raids to raise the hits are so small so this might be the case. just not enough orc blood to stisfy the little blood-thirsty elves. just solo crushbone during off hours and it should raise. go to http://everquest.allakhazam.com too. has a whole section on just factions.

LOL - you probobly spent what, a couple of hours killing those "blue meanies?"

To go from total KOS to amiable equates to a solid 16 hours or so of nearly non-stop killing - clear Crushbone non-stop, do the free the slaves quest and save up your pixie dust - this will eventually get you to the point that you can turn in the pixie dust and orc hatchets to the ranger guild for faction.

Additionally, if memory serves, doesn't the orc belt quest with the dwarves give atleast one wood elf hit?

1) this has nothing to do with tradeskills, so sorry, wrong message board entirely. Though OOC would probably be acceptable.

2) Hmmm... Shark meat quest... Crushbone until you max your faction completely. You'll have to indifferent I believe with Faydark Champions before you can do the shark meat quest. Might be apprehensive though. As far as the muffin man in Freeport, can an Enchanter charm him, or cast any faction modifying buffs on you to help you be able to turn in muffins? If you can get a hi level chanter to try it, might be worth while.

Otherwise, Alla's to search through his quest section and Illia's beastiary might help.

/agree balkin.

1) Don't cross-post. It's generally not nice Net-conduct, and here it's severely looked down upon (and with good reason).


2) Don't kill your own god/dess. It causes problems.


3) A little poking through Alla's and some logical mental constructs using the information found there will answer nearly all questions there.


4) As important as epics are, and even tho the warrior one requries a potted small bowl, they don't really involve tradeskills, nor do the general faction fixing quests either, so unfortunately... there are probably more appropriate places to be asking questions like these.


Even having said all that, I wish you luck, especially considering that downing Tunare is said to be unfixable, especially with paladin/cleric factions.

I assume you're having problems with the Elia the pure part, right? You can have someone MQ that piece for you. Not like it's uncommon or anything.

yes , im having problems with elia the pure , only one stopping me from getting the epic , though how can i MQ that part since i need to give shield + BP + sword to a guy in erudine to get the mark of vallon or so . the guy who has the shield hands in the shield first and i hand in the other two ? even though need to give all at once ?


as for crossposting , this is the first time im posting here and heared about this site , im sorry but i have no idea whats acceptable and whats not here .

i did harvest allakhazam and everlore.com and both werent much helpful , and its been like 2 years since ppl actualy bothered going after paladin epics so i dont expect to find any help in game now days from oocing...
i simply noticed there are very well exprienced players here with good knoledge of the game so i thought about giving it a try .

ive been in crushbone killing orcs for a total of 5 hours or so , ill give it another 10 and see how it goes

kandrack , can u please give me more details as of how to MQ the elia the pure part ?

Get a good raid group together and go hunt in Neriak.
Kill SK guards, Clerics, Necros for fixing your TUnare factions.

And it's great fun.

Don't let your friends play your characters. That's never a good idea.

For faction, kill crushbone orcs. Killing Crush himself should give you a bigger faction hit than killing the pawns. If you can, I would get into the throne room (TR), and keep wiping it out. Depending on your level, you could solo it. When Crush is up, go kill him too. Just be respectful of lower levels that want to camp the TR for XP.

Having been a HIE Tunarian cleric convinced by friends at a young age that my faction was easily fixable, I too did some hunting in Plane of Growth.

After hours of wiping out Crushbone and playing in Neriak, I found this quest. After maxing your faction with the bat wings Pandos will be happy to accept your muffins.

It does take time but is the easiest least time consuming way to reestablish good faction with the groups involved. You can NEVER raise your faction with Tunare herself again

Hanna did u manage to fix the faction with elia the pure ?
i know servants of tunare wont be fixed but was told that pandos can make me non kos to elia who i need for epic .

Elia is a lvl 61 wiz in felwith , im also kos to cleric / paladin guild in felwith . probably same factions .

That's what Visitor's Corner is for, and is why it says "Read before posting to the boards!". In the future this sort of thing needs to go in the OOC forum, rather than General Tradeskills, since it has nothing to do with tradeskills. (That forum is what Balkin was referring to, not to the OOC channel in game.)
