  • Foraged Items List

Is there a list of what Foraged Items are highly sought by Traders? As a druid I forage 'junk' all the time but usually just sell (to NPC merchants) or destroy stuff. I was thinking that I am doing my server a disservice by not putting some of those needed things into the bazaar (but I don't want to be bothering with common components either).

"highly sought" is a relative thing. It depends quite a bit on the server. In general, anything that has to do with cultural tailoring and smithing, LoY dyes, PotC gifts, baking/brewing will sell, eventually. Off the top of my head:

    Misty Acorn
    Tuft of Dire Wolf Fur
    Yew Leaf
    Tea Leaf
    Oak Bark
    Planar Oak Branch
    Dragon Egg
    Plain Pebble
    Justice Fruit
    Cured Clover of Vesar
    Ashweed
    Morning Dew
    Sylvan Berry
    Steamfont Springwater
    Lichenclover
    Seahorse Roe
    Honey Berry
    Cauldron Prawn
    Plant Shoot
    ...

just to name a few. Don't ask which one worth more, it depends on your server. Even on the same server, sometimes they'll sell like hotcake, sometimes you'll be holding on to them for days or weeks with no buyers in sight.

Best way is to find a zone that you can safely forage in, and see what forages there by a list, then compare it to what's selling in the bazaar.

Believe it or not, vegtables sell all the time on my server, 1G - 1P each.

Also, the list above doesn't include Griffon or Basilisk eggs. Any of the multiple yield dough eggs sell well, even looted Basilisk eggs go 5PP each on Kane Bayle.

I've also noticed that Surefall sap and Steamfont springwater sell pretty well at 5-10PP each.

Forage in PoI for tinkering and PoJ for cockroaches...

(But then again, the economy on KB is so messed up right now..)

More of a disservice to your bank vault.

don't forget the temper components in LDoN! All of them are foraged much more frequently than they drop.

          Sand Verbena
          Ice Lichen
          Pondweed
          Gargoyle Granite
          Goblin Bones

Or, if your brewing is high enough, you can make them into the tempers and sell them that way (triv at 127 brewing). Each server is different on these temper prices, so you'll have to check your bazaar.

What makes it messed up? The fact that people are paying for cockroaches? I think that jus means some folks want to skill up their baking from 191 to 202.

Seriously, I'm curious what makes you say the economy is messed up.
