  • Looking for some advice..

I'm currently in eq limbo. However when/if I return I have about 3 alts worth of velium bricks/blocks/pieces and 1 alt full of acrylia. I've been saving for a few months now but I'm out of space.

My current "plan" is to use up the velium bricks / blocks to make boning (cobalt drake), use up any pieces i have for studs(arctic wyvern). Same for the acrylia to go into tailoring with (rockhopper stuff goes to 180's, velious tanning to 250).

I also "plan" on doing fineplate armor to 188 (smithing) and doing the hollowshade quest to go beyond.

Any recomendations / alterations people might suggest as a better use of my current resources?

Keep in mind I'm a woodelf rogue (bristlebane not tunare *gag*). Assume I have full use and access of a 250 brewer and jewelcrafter and a char to imbue any gem that may or may not be needed. Assume my resources include 30k < my plat < 100k.

I think thats all the pertinant information... heh.

Yikes! thats a lot of space to tie up.

When I was gathering componets for later tailoring I would break them down into studs and bonning as soon as possible to save space since both stacked. Granted that you may not know exactly what you will doing later, but if you have 2 Cobalt drake hides then you can certainly break down 20 Small bricks into bonning to store for later use. That would be 2 toolboxes freed up already. My personal experience was that Studs went faster then bonning since Wyvern hides and Raptor hides were easier to get then drake hides and yew leaves. By that I mean that you should not be afraid to break down any extra bricks into small pieces.

Thats my 2 cents. I'm sure something useful is there if you look hard enough.

Keep in mind that arctic wyvern hides are a lot more plentiful than cobalt drake hides. Don't blow all your velium on boning only to find you needed more studs instead.

        (rockhopper stuff goes to 180's,
Not entirely true. Acrylia Studded trivials at 188, and Acrylia Reinforced trivials at 242.

Do you have any skins or tannins/tempers saved up?

I would recommend starting on those...and that will direct to you as to whether to go studs or bonings.

In all liklihood...you'll need more than you have anyway, so it won't matter too much how you break it down.

Go ahead and break down several bags of Velium into bits - then you'll have plenty of room (since one bag of blocks/lg bricks/sm bricks makes 6 studs* if you have no fails...)

*math is not my strong point, so I may have calculated wrong, but you get the point
