Is there a level requirement to pass 200 in a tradeskill? Or could you have a level 1 character with 250 skill in tailoring, smithing, etc?

EDIT: i only mean in one skill. I know you'd have to be 51+ with taanan aa to pass 200 in more then one.

There is no requirement for the 7 basic tradeskills (jc, tailor, smith, fletch, pottery, brew, baking). You can get any level 1 character to 250 in one of those skills.

The remaining skills (research, tinkering, alchemy, poison) have minimum level requirements before gaining skill ups. Most also are level based as well.

After you hit level 51, there is an AA that allows you to raise one extra tradeskill past the 200 point barrier for each time you train it. I think it takes 6 AA to train it once. It's called New Taanan Craft Mastery (or something like that.)

New Taanan takes 3 AA points to train one level. So, to be able to take all 7 skills above 200, you spend a total of 18 AA points. First skill over is free, remains 6x3=18.
