At one time didnt there used to be a list of tradeskill supplies that had no known use. Does anyone know where that can be found?

Yes, there is, on the main site, in the Frequently Asked Questions section, listed in the What is (___) Used For? page.
Also note that the site is searchable (link in my signature), and you can do a quick check with the item search. -
just to clarify...
those items listed on that page have an in-game tradeskill tag, but the community just doesn't know what they're for?
