    - The auto-attack key now defaults to Q (not A).
I wonder if this will change it to "Q" for those of us who have already remapped that key to something other than "Q". I'll have to be sure to check this as soon as I log in. I moved mine to the "*" key on the number pad to get it the heck away from the normal places I type.

I also wonder if the change will reset all my other remapped keys to their defaults and force me to change them all again.

And I wonder if it will screw up any of the key mappings the way one of the other patches earlier this year did to the alt key.

The nodrop container issue is also one that is big for smiths ... many people, including myself, have lost the nodrop Vah Shir Anvil and humming Luclinite mallet to LDs or walkaways.

        You would assume incorrectly.

I have heard that widespread exploitation of the profit caused this to be "fixed".

And also, what's the deal with giving everyone track(err. "Find")? Now I can go to the bazaar, any starting city, or any newbie zone, and track?

          - When World Containers (ovens, kilns, augmentation sealers and similar items) are closed, No Drop items in those containers will be placed in the character's inventory. If it will not fit there, it will appear on their cursor.

I have to agree, this is the biggest fix for anyone advancing their smithing skill via shadowscream. I was always a nervous wreck any time I had to use my no drop tools. I just knew that if I didn’t go LD I’d accidentally hit my arrow key and move far enough away from the forge for my tools to go poof. I really didn’t want to have to do those quests over and over and over again.

"The Qeynos investigator is now taking "follow me" orders again."

Wonder if this is good or bad.... At least when he didn't follow, he didn't get stuck, and you didn't have to wait for him... I wonder if I can sow him....

"The auto-attack key now defaults to Q (not A)."

And there is much screaming and scowling in the distance. I better not have to reset this to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY CHARACTORS.

            NOOOBIFICATION! /scowl
It's like a rite of passage to pick up your noob weapon and put it in your hand. Like saying. "I. AM. WARRIOR!" or something.

Noob ND bandages -- hehe cute. I guess this doesn't hurt much.

Pet buff window -- sounds nifty, except I have a custom pet window and am unleet enough to not know how to edit it myself. /sigh.

"When World Containers (ovens, kilns, augmentation sealers and similar items) are closed, No Drop items in those containers will be placed in the character's inventory. If it will not fit there, it will appear on their cursor."

WOOTAH. Guildie lost about 1/4 of epic this way. >_<

"/autojoin is now saved per character, not for all characters."

On one hand, very very bad. I have set my autojoins to account for the fact that ANY char I sign on will be in the proper server.channel. /sigh. Oh well. They obviously don't ask me. ^_^

I want them to think about the thing where when you link, say, your turn left key to hotbutton 9 to work up sense heading that it does NOT do that across the board. Well, it's worth a thought, even if they reject it. I'd like to KNOW that they've thought and rejected, but that's probably too much to ask.

            "Jewelcraft Mastery works properly now."
            hehehehhehe

Lilosh: I think the noob city track is only for vendor npcs?

            Jokah:
Something that may be of interest to the tradeskill community:

            http://lucy.fnord.net/spell.html?id=4423&source=Live

As you can see, it's Palatable. Does this mean that the vials summoned by Enchanters now have a right click? If so, there could be a new market for these. I understand that this is not directly tradeskill related but, up until now, that's all these vials were for.

From the Stacking information we can see that they share a buff-slot with the Clarity/KEI line, so they can't be sold as a bonus to that. However, this could be handy for sub-46 characters, or for casters to carry around for "emergency" use. (Obviously it's not THAT useful, as it doesn't increase the mana you currently have, so it can't be used as a right-click mana infusion, but it seems handy nonetheless.)

I will very calmly and with honestly no unkind emotions direct anyone with memory thereof to recall a certain thread about Kei In A Bottle. Thank you, that is all.

No, that's not all. I want Sony to hire me NOW, FUDGIT. I don't care if they steal my ideas or even if it happens to be 'parallel thinking'. I can even buy the parallel thinking line, it's been happening all my life. BUT: Hire. Me.

The seperate autojoins for seperate characters doesn't work.

              Still saves it in eqclient.ini

Yes, this will take away the sole edge which druids and rangers had in finding the food merchants and the magic user trainers - definately a nerf to druids - but hey, you guys had to be nerfed eventually.

It's not clear to me how increasing the mana pool by 100 is KEI in a bottle

Even though it says it will increase the mana regen rate, all it does now is add 100 mana. Of course since it appears the have unlimited duration, I'm sure there's work to be done on it.

... and if it requires 4 rubies + to cast.. how many are going to be willing to pay 535pp + for kei...?

Given kei is now level limited, i'm less inclined to be against a potion of it, however, i still think actual kei in a potion form would be bad for the game given it's duration.

Yep, lost the hammer/anvil twice and either time the GM would not reimburse me and I had to do the quest again and again. I am so glad they decided on this.

I posted about this WAY back in August. I hope more than just me and the 25 bard I ran into on Mith Marr managed to line their pockets a little.

I took great advantage of this, after discovering it. To the tune of about 30k.

Would love to say I feel bad about "exploiting" the system, but considering the massive amounts of plat I've spent working on my tradeskills, I just don't.

                              Your mileage may vary.

I don't consider it exploitation unless you were one of the rule-breaking, greedy bastiges who set up bot programs to macro it Non-stop while they were sleeping or at a party, o otherwise not playing.
