NPC vendors - no more upstock

I read the post about vendors not getting reset....and I think the problem is more grave than that folks....


I haven't found a vendor yet that had more than 40 items on them (or whatever the total typically is, 40 is a fuzzy guess). Notice if you buy out one item close the window and return they all will have one spot open at that point. Everything that is being sold to these vendors is getting deleted.

I will be glad to be wrong, but I do a lot of mining and I'm coming up empty handed as of now. Once a vendor has nothing you need, sadly they are obsolete until patch. And then you have to hope someone sells stuff you want before they receive all the meaningless junk.

But like I said, I will be more than happy to be wrong about this......maybe just all my regular vendors aren't getting anything sold to them......

It's been mentioned before here, and it does appear that vendor diving has been seriously nerfed. If you can't see it, the vendor does not have it now.

I posted on this subject elsewhere, but dont remember where. But you two are absolutely correct. Very very sad. One thing I have found though is if you do buy something and clear up a spot and it stays clear until someone else sells something to them. So they are not totaly obsolete. Just the probablity of them being any help in the future is very slim and not worth the time to check back later to see if that one slot you bought out is filled with something useful. Very very sad.

Especially with everything having everything that drops in LDoN have a high merchant sell-back price. Hard to open up slots on a merchant when the lowest priced item he has is 5 pp each and then hope that someone sells them the one thing you're looking for.

Vendor's timing out?

Hey all,

Has Verant stealth-introduced some sort of Vendor time-out/autoclear? There hasn't been a patch in a while but I have definately seen some of the EC vendors emptied and then start refilling...

Specific zones have been getting patches. Especially the ones involved with the Wayfarers. I've personally noticed vendors in WFP, EC and BB with nothing but what they spawn with at least 4 times since LDoN went live last month.

There is also a patch Wednesday morning, so that will also reset everything.

Yep. Vendor mining-and take this from an oldtimer who did it early and often- is kaput.

Visible inventory is the only items on a vendor from now on. Which I can understand, it does save a good chunk of tracking.
