Armor Dyes

Ok i have a couple of questions regarding armor dyes.
#1 what trade skills are needed to make them
#2 How do you make them

I don’t mean this to be a flame by any means, just trying to be helpful. But all I did to find this link is type the word “dye” in the search box on the home page. The new database setup is extremely helpful if you know even one word of the item name you are looking for.

All the dye components you are looking for are found on the same merchant in the lighthouse in Gunthak. They use both pottery and brewing skill, but the trivial for both are fairly low. Assuming your charisma is high enough to get the best price and you succeed on your combines each dye should cost you about 30pp.

Depends how you mean...

"Armor Dyes" like the LoY dyes for armor slots takes both pottery and brewing, not much of either. Recipes clearly posted in the "recipes" section. Components only available in LoY zone, and components are NO Drop as well so you need to buy the vials of dye from someone if you don't have LoY.

"Armor Dyes" like the actual dye put on fine steel plate smithing skill. And quite a bit if you are making the armor yourself. Recipes clearly posted in the "recipes" section. Most of the dye components are fairly rare and somewhat expensive in the bazaar. Given the quality of the armor dyed most people have switched to using LoY dyes.
