Twinking a Ranger with Tradeskill Items

Hi, as i checked out the new fletching reciepes for Karana followers, i decided do try some out and to make a new Karana worshipping wood elf ranger.
As I'm currently a Master Baker, Brewer, Smith, Jewler and so on, i decieded to equip him only with self made things for a start.
However I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of Jewlery I could possibly make for him and and I'm a bit lost which weapon to use.

The Question: What should I make for a Lvl 1 Wood Elf Ranger?
My Stats are (give or take a few)

Backing 196
Jewlery 195
Smithing 188
Pottery 160
Tailoring 145
Brewing 170
Fletching 0 (Its the next one to start)

Tinkering Alt 120


As my Main is a Level 38 Halfling Druid, worshipping Karana I don't want to spend more than 100pp per piece (Just blew about 3k on Jewlery hehe). Also the planar drops are out of Question for me.
I already looked at my cultural, but besides the BD stuff it didn't impress me much.

Any Advice is welcome

Oh, yea forgot to say that i'm not a power Leveler, so he won't probably get any higher than his mid twenties *g*

Gothic ringmail is decent enough twink armour, and should be doable provided you do some MMC dungeons with your main.

Velium/Platinum + Fire Opal = Bling Bling Rings.

Velium/Platinum + Black Sapphire = Bling Bling Necklace.

The Velium/Platinum Stuff is a bit out of my league, because of the costs and the skill requirements, I've chosen Gold / Fire Opal instead.
I just created a Magelo Profile to "try out" the ringmail. This is what I choose so far:

Are there any good craftable Primary / Secondary or do I have to use Mob drops / Quested Weapons for these?

Should i change some of the Ringmail (Bracer/Veil) for Jewelery?

And which stats are more important pre 50? AGI DEX STA or STR?

Is the Golden Black Pearl Choker +7 DEX +7 AGI better than the Golden Opal Necklace +9 STA +6 AGI?


Sorry for the many question, but this is so much easier with my Druid, with whom I only have to focus on +WIS

There are some craftable weapons - good craftable weapons, otoh...

Maybe black acrylia...if you can find the pieces in the bazaar and don't mind the horrific failure rates you'd get at your current skill level.


Edit: There's also a gothic ring belt (called skirt) and collar (gorget) as well...they might be better than what you have - for low level melee characters you want hps, STA and AC above all else, pretty much.

In my opinion, anyway.

Well, the black acrylia looks quite nice, but after looking up the reciepe, i think I'll stay with normal combined acrylia. At least i can get those ingredients myself.

I think the skirt and the gorget have not been included into Magelo jet, but I think i will stick to the +9 STA Necklace.

I also Adjusted my starting stats, and put all the points into stamina. Still I'm a bit disapointed, considering that my mildly twinked Chanter had an INT of about 160 compared to 144 Stamina.


EDIT: I think I'll use a combine acrylia Long Sword and a combine acrylia Morning Star So i can get both my 1 Hand Blunt and my 1H Slashing up

Surprised no one else caught this: Wood elf rangers can't worship Karana, only Tunare.

However, on the note of items, the sedgewood bows made from Miragul's foraged Sedge Branch are pretty decent and cheap twink bows.

I also found this out yesterday, I thought this was changed, because i tried out the Test server, and there you can actually create a karana worshiping wood elf ranger. However on the normal servers this won't work

Tigerraptor armor. Great RNG only armor, with nice stats on some of the pieces.
