New Member and New Tradeskill Quest Information

From what I remember seeing in my Freeport sourcebook, I do remember seeing an upgrade noted in there.

The stats may vary,but the new robe had FT 2 as listed.

You can petition to get your Velious BP back if you destroyed it. I petitioned today to get my Breastplate of Forbidden Rights back. I also have a Templer's Chestplate and Breastplate of Vengeful Fury..

I'm not risking the Templer's Chestplate til I know what I get with the Breastplate of Forbidden rights..

I also have a Thurg Robe I'm willing to sacrifice on my twink to see what it comes up with. I've got access to elemental robes/skyshrine robe we got stored on a twink if the result is really bad..

I have long since trashed my faction with the Oracle in the Ocean of Tears by farming him for his robe to sell for plat. I wonder if there will be a way to repair this faction for those of us in this position ... not that is matters all that much for me, mind you, because I've never even seen a leather tunic drop in any of the velious zones.

On the other hand I have acquired a rather nice Elysian tunic for my druid and I expect to keep that for quite a while.

I am curious on the faction as well. I have a Thurg tunic rotting in my bank now, hope we can at leaste fix our faction if they do not reset it.

Think it will be better than an Ornate Tunic though? I am thinking it will not be, but you never know.

So all we do is hand over our Thurg tunic to the Oracle in OOT and we get the new one? Or is there more to it?

I've made a topic about this quest in the quest section with some initial info. I can't get any concrete quest info out of the three NPCs there now, though ...

Adding a way to fix the faction would be handy for the Paladin epic as well. At this point, it's easily MQable, but still would be nice to be able to repair it. After all, they took out the paladin turnin in Neriak and changed it to outside Qeynos, so they do seem interested in making these things a bit more palitable...
