8th shawl and PoTC earring question

So what kind of slots did they give these items and what kind of nice little gems can you put in said slots?

Still can't play, but been dying to find out how I can upgrade two of my favorite peices of gear once I get back.

Probably slot one, type 1, just like everything else pre-LDoN.

Earing has one slot one, as do most pre-LDoN items. Don't have the 8th shawl but #5 has one slot one as well.

8th Shawl does have 1 slot -- I don't remmeber the type, but I put in one of the CHA5 augments into it.

That's a type one slot. Type 1 has only one stat increase. Type 2 has multiple stat increases. Type 3 is some kind of effect (FT, regen), type 4 is dmg increase (for weapons.)

Already did - I exchanged close to 20 emails with tech support on this, sent them my system specs and whatnot half a dozen times, posted and reposted my info on the tech thread boards a few times - it's the crash bug that Sony doesn't know how to deal with - tech support quite literally gave up and refused to respond to any more of my emails to them - they wrote me off without comment, reason or even a "sorry - we've got no clue."

Effects like ft, regen, eb, see invis etc have all been type 3 slots so far so no. You could do hps mana or basic stats.

Cigar you can only put simple type 1 augments on them that are dropping in the dungeons, like +str 6 or +12hp etc. or you can save up points and buy an augment like this:

Deepest Guk: 1150 points
Type All: Ooze-Covered Pebble of Perfection, Hp20 Mana20,

type 1 slot can hold type 1 augments (increasing one stats) or type all augments (rare).

KK - thanks for info - too bad, I was hoping that they'd put a bit more thought into some of the more special old world stuff like epics, GM trophies, etc.

I added a +5 WIS augment to my earring, making my EotS worth +13 WIS now, instead of the standard +8.
