The biggest question I have for the expansion is the time limits. The main thing I was looking forward to in this expansion was the ability to get together with a group of friends and casually crawl through a dungeon without having to worry about camp checks and trains. But from numerous posts I’ve read on other boards Sony has turned the dungeon crawl into a dungeon run. From what I’ve read the time limits are so tight that you can’t kill things at a casual pace or take ten or fifteen minutes AFK to deal with real life emergencies like a child cutting his finger. Is participating in these dungeons like running a race or can we actually take the time to enjoy ourselves?

Well, I haven't done any adventures at level 65, so it might be different at the very high end.Originally posted by Calabar

In my experience, the time limits do not require you to "run". There is still time for med breaks, corpse retrieval, etc. As long as it doesn't get excessive.
That said, you will not be able to AFK for 15 minutes if you are playing a role that is critical to your group. Otherwise, sure, you can AFK, or LD, or whatever, but your group will not be able to wait on you. You can run and catch up pretty easliy, though, because there is no backspawn.

LOL, Cigarskunk. Will the druid/wizzies be whining now that there are potentially 40 more ports?... hehe.
This druid for one will be delighted. There are way too many people /t'ing me asking for a port. /role helps, but I still get tells. If I whined, it would be because these new ports are only in the Old World... lol.

Getting to Cobalt Scar, as of next patch: PoK -> Great Divide -> PoM -> Cobalt Scar.Originally posted by Lord Grimrose
As for the ports there will always be places that are just too dang hard to get to without specific ports. ie Emerald Jungle, Cobalt Scar or either "ocean zone" not that you can port there anyway.Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.
Gelcea Macha, Wandering Animist of Tarew Marr. Will be a smith, one day.

Eh...?
I admit that I haven't been on lately (RL concerns tying up my time), but last I checked, the Rujarkian Hills quests were issued in the Shady Swashbuckler's cave in E Commons. The Takish'Hez quests were issued at the camp in N Ro just a short distance from the tunnel exit.
Note that I think that spot in N Ro is entirely too close to the guards. Its quite likely that the guards will frequently path down there simply due to basic 'chase mob, kill, rinse, repeat' roaming, and there are quite a few people KoS to the Freeport Militia.

To get to EJ, take Cabilis book to FoB, run past the Kaesora area to the EJ zone.As for the ports there will always be places that are just too dang hard to get to without specific ports. ie Emerald Jungle, Cobalt Scar or either "ocean zone" not that you can port there anyway.
Cobalt Scar, if they do implement the change in where the PoM zone in is, will be easy to get to as well. I have made the run from GD to WW before, but, it is quite time consuming, and so, CS is the one place I do still use a porter for when I need to get there or beyond.

When the latest batch of zone revamps went in, PoM was changed as well - on Stormhammer only. The change will undoubtedly be moving to live soon, although I don't know when.Originally posted by Arrica
PoM? Mischief? In GD? And to CS?
One of the changes was to move the zone in from ToV to the south end of the river in Great Divide. I don't know what else has been done with it, although from what others are saying, it sounds as if there's a zone in/out in CS as well.

When you click the tree to zone out of PoM, you fall into the ocean in Cobalt Scar.

Did anyone else suddenly get images of "Burned Woods" bouncing around from zone line to zone line all of a sudden?
