Pick locks - rundown of skillups from 187 - 200

Yeah, I went to befalled with a 145 skill, decided to make a run so I could help out with CoM.

I didn't track down what the ate was until 187.

With a 170ish dex:

27 attempts to 187
31 to 188
73 to 189
18 to 190
86 to 191
127 to 192 (ouch)
4 to 193 (woohoo!)
35 to 194
9 to 195 (woohoo!)
6 to 196 (Thank you Mr god of the RNG!)
66 to 197
184 to 198 (curse you Mr god of RNG!)
40 to 199
57 to 200.

CoM has a 201 skill, so I picke dup a mechanical lockpicks. I was able to rob the bank in freeport.

763 attempts, averaging 54.5 attempts per skillup.

During the run from 145 to 187, I had a few runs of 5-10 skillups in 20 attempts, but the higher I got, the less that happened.

That (the above post) said, this *was* quite interesting. Mine is at 203, and I need to go somewhere to max it out (just for fun). I was wondering what the skillup rate was like.... Doesn't look too fun.
