  • 1680 Geerlok Club by Server

I would like to introduce the 1680 Geerlok Club...by server of course.

This is for all those people that think it is just pointless to purposely tradeskill past 240....just buy a geerlok instead.

I am not yet in the club myself, but I wanted an alternative movement to this 1750 thing thats been going on.

So if you are 240 in ALL 7 main tradeskills, feel free to boast your name and server!

EDIT: AND 1750 PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO JOIN!!!

    SO THERE!

So the 1680 guild is a feeder guild for the 1750 one?

What if you are making something and accidentally get a skill up? Do you get kicked out? And doesn't 1680 mean you can't have ANY at 250? Can you have one at 250 and another at 230?

such discrimination. I got 15% geerlok items to tailoring and smithing, 240 is just as useless to me as 250. Gotta allow those. Call it Quasi 1750 club, in case people skill up , have better geerloks and in general don't add up to 1680
        250 Jewelry Making (JCM2)
        250 Baking
        250 Brewing
        250 Pottery
        223 Blacksmithing (+15%)
        220 Tailoing (+15%)
        240 Fletching (+5%)

Then it should really be called the Quasi 1764 club, right?

Good points. Yeah the 1680 thing is just a highwater mark so to speak. If you have one of the few items (more than 5%) that takes your skill to 252 then you can join based on principle.

Yes it is a feeder guild unfortunately.

And next we'll have the following:

The 1400 club (200 in all skills...Which there has already been discussion of)
The 1050 club (150 in all)
The 700 club (100 in all)
The 350 club (50 in all)
The I started a tradeskill club (I got a smithing skill of 1 when I did my combine to get an earring of the solstice)

While everyone above is a tradeskiller (more or less), only the members of the 1750 have had the drive, desire and plain out stupidity to go the extra mile and only they deserve the recogintion.

                  1764 club

The club should be called the 1764 club since with geerlok or other tradeskill mod the point is to be 252 in all 7 tradeskills.

I am 1764 with mods and only have 3 or 4 tradeskills at 250.

I achieved this finally 1-26-04 on Stormhammer.

I like calling it 1764 club, and then there is the non-NTCM version, the 252+6*200 club, which I am fast approaching, having dubbed the 707 club *"master" of 101 in all 7) and created my own 185*7 club which I am the only professed member.

                      Sorry, I'm a GDI.

I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

                      Everbody's gotta have their standards...
"Why!?", screamed the man. "Why is it, that after all my time, effort and skill, do you offer me less than 1/20th the purchase price of just the beans I put into this casserole?"
"Because", said the Vendor, "You can't unbake a bean."
Thus the man achieved enlightenment... and became a farmer.

                        Amen.

We don't need clubs for everyone. If you complete tradeskill skillups to 250, you have the "1750 club"

Heck, I could even see 1450, if you are sub-51 and can't get NTCM.

But random clubs with 1123 point are just silly.

Sorry... had to laugh at that one!

250 in brewing with a trophy! All other trade skills? /sigh don't ask.

We don't need a zillion clubs, but 1764 makes more sense than 1750. For the customer looking for a crafter 1764 is what matters, they don't care about 1750.

don't forget that we need the grimel club: 220 in all skills, nothing higher.
