Humans can also be clerics of Bert, although the vast majority of human clerics will probably follow good deities. If nothing else, its a lot easier to get around if you don't need to use the sewers in your home city.

I'm a paladin of Quellious, so believe me, I know exactly how rare the right wis-caster can be.

Allowing paladins, shadowknights, and rangers the option to imbue would be workable, and would help out a lot, although it might be fun to only allow it for the less common deities.

Human/Gnome cleric ratio is about 5:1 on Stromm, nevertheless the only Bertox clerics I've heard/saw are gnomes there. Most humans follow prime healer, with some Karana/marr sprinkled on top. Not a single Inny/Bertox Human cleric among about 50 that I asked. I used to group with a cool Erudite CT cleric for some fun times together .

I played a Human Bertox Celric on Tunare.

Another reason evil celrics of good races are so rare... You get really sick of having to mule out your spells. It seems that the evil cleric quilds don't have all the spells. Especially the rez spells.

Weird. That last bit sounds like something that really needs to be feedbacked loud and long until the devs take the time to fix it.

            hard to find

Took me 3 weeks of Bazaar /OOC'ing and Bazaar auction channel searching to find one. And that was on The Seventh Hammer. I think im the only sk with a full set of Fetid on our server. If you find one. have him/her imbue as many as they can. Made some of my money back selling Fetid peices out.

First off, thaks for the chuckle I got when I saw 'Unobtanium' on the board. It's been a long time since I've seen that particular term in service.

Creating an imbue mule is probably what you are going to have to do. It's the route I took for raising my Smithing & Tailoring above 188, and I was only looking for Imbued Emeralds. It's not at all hard - you can get a cleric to 24 in two days in Paludal Caverns, and another day should see you safely at level 29 or 30. I chose to go all the way to 30 for the improved mana efficiency of having

Buying the spells for a Bertoxxulean WAS a complete pain. Tzimm could swim down to home and buy some at regular rates, or be gouged aboveground, or trot all the way to Ak'Anon and develop a neck crimp while tripping over defective machinery. That was IT. Also, kilt raids into Everfrost couldn't get any further than the McMarrins, who seem to have had their sense of humor inbred out of them along with their sensitivity to temperature.

On the other hand, there are little perks. Dosing yourself with Disease Cloud and having the pain snap you out of a trance, while the group beside yours dies in front of its dazzled cleric, satisfies even the min-maxers around. Calling said min-maxers 'floaters' and having the other Qeynos native in the group snicker is a bonus.

My evil human cleric of Bertoxxulous is on Ayonae, and I usually have trouble selling my Imbued Blackies.

But, I'm usually on /anon because of the deluge of rez requests.

Someone who maximizes their benefits for a minimum of investment. A min/maxer is someone who can tell you the DPS decrease of CA/CR, the cost of each and the best order to take them in to maximize the return on AA invested.

but no worse than mana vial$.
Will disagree there. Vials can be made by any enchanter of appropriate level, regardless of race or religion. And mass vial spells only make things easier.

A guildie of mine, a Bert SK, after a couple months of trying to find a Bertox cleric on Xev, finally gave up, made his own, and levelled her to 29.

But I agree - if you are a class that does not get Agnostic as an option, that indicates strong religious ties - and should allow you to imbue gems of your deity.
