I know this is smithing recipe... but it's gonna be used for fletching.

There's 3 types of Chunk of Condensed X.

Shadow, Flame and Ice. Since I usually see shadow listed, can I assume of those 3, shadow is the easiest one to get?

Gonna start farming really soon, so any suggestions on what or where to hunt for them in any significant quanities would be great.

shak dratha

just slaughter massive amounts of the shak dratha in shadeweaver's, they drop condensed shadow, it also helps if you kill the grol taku (something like that, shak dratha brown counterparts) to help the shak dratha spawn. The shak dratha look like those moon men in tenebrous.

Gor taku only spawn during either 'day' or 'night' and the Shak Dratha spawn durning the other one (cant remember which is which). Youll have to ask a friend who isnt on the moon for the time of day in game.

Gor Taku are the "day" spawns, and Shak Dratha are the "night" spawns

For acrylia, go to the grimling caves in the southwest portion of Tenebrous Mountains, drops about 1 in 20 in my experience, and the Grliming Laborer in the westernmost cave tends to drop it more often.

for acrylia arrowheads I used to run to ME and see if there was a bard or dr00d quading toilers and would buy all his shadows if he would sell um. I got 65 of um one time doing that. That's a lot of arrowheads.

The acrylia can be farmed in acrylia caves. Good xp for the 50s and you can get the primalist or ritualist (easy kills) which drop decent stuff, namely a 12ac 12str 12 wis 12int mask off primalist. Ritualist has a 10wis (plus a bunch of other stats look up Acrylic Chainmail) chain tunic. Not uncommon pops either. Plus pristine acrylia shards can be turned in at certain times for healthy xp (i got 11%aa per 1 turn in 1turn in=8 shards) and 750p. Look the quest up on Allah in Grimling Quests. EASY! Plus the grims in AC drop runes instead of money and some have weaps that sell for 150p+/- which in one 3hour KEI session i could haul about 1k worth of runes and weapons out.

Condensed Ice

I found Condensed fire in Scarlet dessert, but where does Condensed Ice drop? I want to make some arrows to fight the firey type beasts out there.

Acrylia Arrows... Spent a nite farming the condensed stuff and acrylia.

Got upto 240 now... almost.

For acrylia ores, I've been farming them in acrylia caverns. They pretty high so I dont mow through them as fast as I like for the drop rates. Anywhere else to get these in decent amounts?

Tenebrous Mountains.

If you can get both camps, kill all the grimlings inside, then pick off random wandering aliens (I find the grol baku to be the best) until the camps repop.

Come with a LOT of bag space and keep all the runes you find. They have way upped the value of the lower end runes to vendors and they are more than worth collecting to add some income to supplement your tailoring..

Condensed Ice also drops off the blue aliens in one of the caves in Umbral Plains.

The aliens guys you want in Twlight for the condensed substance are the "A Vas Ren..." ones, there are 3 different types of alien guys there.

The farming spot is through the underwater tunnel.

Went farming for shadows in the Shadweaver caves last night with guild cleric. If you can do this, it might be something to really look into. A cleric, druid, or wizard makes things go so much faster, with their PB AoE's. A 51 druid or 52 cleric is just about perfect, because at those levels they get Upheavel, a ~650 DD PB AoE, which in most cases is more than enough to kill any gor taku or shak dratha, and any that survive will be at less than 10% HP. What we did last night, was the cleric parked in the center of a room while I rounded up everything in said room, and would bring them back to the cleric to take down. While pulling all the mobs. After the first couple attempts at this, I clicked off my damage shield spells, as the first one or two that I grabbed beat themselves up enough on me while grabbing the others that they would flee, and I'd have to hunt them down.

Also drops from the umbrous toilers in ME. They are all 45-49, so at 65, they will all be light blue. You'll get some XP, and should be able to mow through them pretty quick.
