 *is now questioning her choice to fletch to 202 at lvl25* /sigh 1750 is going to be a longer ways off than I thought.

Don't, you will be glad that you did later. For now I suggest working on all the support trades such as tailoring, smithing, brewing, and pottery. You'll need these other skills to do the parts for the high end bows

Thanks I am. pottery is at 135 now (not sure how you can do it to 188 on 100pp like it says in another thread), brewing 151, s,smithing 118, tailor (okay having worked on this too much only to get the misty baskets) 78.

thank you thats just the information i was looking for

it sounds like between bows and cultural arrows that cultural is definatly the way to go.

will prolly take me a couple of good 6 hour runs and i will be 250 but smithing is first atm 6 more darn points! hehe.

thanks for the information oh and was this selling the arrows back to the merchants or keeping arrows?

arrows sell back at less than 1p per stack on mithril champion. Either destroy them or give to random rangers for good faction ;-)

If youre a ranger, keep the arrows on mules. Take a few stacks with ya when you go hunting and you need that extra oomph or if youre gonna trueshot. If you go from 202-250 on mithril, you should have a couple mules full of arrows, and they should last you until you purchase Endless Quiver AA.

Druid just dotted and snared. I took my hammer and just pounded them. Although they are green, they hit about even to me so I would need a heal sometimes in the middle, definitely if there was an add. It's a lot easier with a third, had a 56 warrior once and 62 monk once with me. We were able to take on 3 at a time near the entrance.

On a good day, I can get about 25 acrylia pieces and various blocks per hour or two. On a bad day I got 15 acrylias per 3 hours. Since each small blocks of acrylia produces 2 shafts, I was able to do 1-2 stacks of combines in a day. Cost of this was about 3 silvers, for the mold and water. I would lose one per day average on chisel combines however.

There is an easy place to farm condensed shadow. If you use the book from pok to vShar Vahl, take the road all the way to the other side of the zone to the cave. This is also the zone in area from Paludal Cavern to Sahdeweaver's Thicket. In the cave, there are alien mobs in a large cavern, they were very low green to me. I was able to get to about 3 of these groups, each with about 20-25 of them, at a time. There are grey color ones and black color ones. The grey color ones spawn only if the new spawn is during the day (7am to 7pm?) game time. Black color ones only druing the night game time. Since you can not tell time on the moon, I kept asking gulidies for time so I can clear them.

I would just round them up, and use the Unspoken Word to AOE them. I can kill the entire camp with one blast. I was able to clear the 3 camps twice each before the day time came. I was able to get about 2-3 stacks of the consensed shadow per night in about an hour. Total cost of the combine for the arrowhead was about 1 silver for water. They also yield 2 each.

Then only other items needed were shield cut fletchings and small nocks for the final combine. I don't remember how much those cost.

So each evening, I was able to combine 1-2 stacks of arrows steadily. At 310 wisdom, I was able to average 1-3 points per night.

I hope this helps with your fletching.

Hmm..where did you collect the Acrylia at and off what mobs? i am wanting to go with the condensed/acrylia way to get to 250 archery and i cant seem to find a good place to do this at, so if you could provide that info i would be much grateful.

Acrylia Cavern is the place for it. You can hunt from zone in and have plenty of acrylias drop off any Grims. It seems to be easier to hunt there after the last major change to the zone. Just sit there and make sure either bring a snarer or items to snare. I didn't have any problems with them up 1 more add soloing, however, many adds, I had to zone.
