Another simple question

Hello again, last time i asked about bows and arrow ranges and everyone was a big help. Now I have a Fletching skill of 203 (the nightmare stage lol) and I am going to get a set of skill gear.

The question is: Int and Wis were the origional stats needed to be raised for skill procs, was str or dex added to accomidate fighters? or is this just a myth.

I have read threads going both ways, strength was added not dex and then dex was added not str.

I am just seeking a little clarity lol

Dex is for fletching, str is for smithing.
And don't overlook stat food, I use justice fruit pies for upping my dex for combines. It really only pays off when I can't get shaman buffs.

The short answer is the higher of WIS, INT and DEX is used for determining skill ups in fletching.

Also...

If you're just looking at fletching, dex gear will probably be easier to get, but if you're going to be taking on other tradeskills, wis is the way to go... this thead has helped me a lot in putting together a wis kit:

Here are some additional ideas

Check my magelo for separate +DEX and +WIS kits (Yes, I know I should sell my DEX kit and invest in a better WIS kit, but I've been working on it for so long, it just has a sentimental value now...). I know with FV having virtually no NO DROP tags, you may not be able to acquire all the items in those kits, but hopefully they'll give you a few shopping ideas.

Thanks for the help, I went with the wisdom gear and a KEI. Wis was up to 231. Then I made Bows and got a skill proc about every 20 to 25 combines. I am now at 216 and will continue this weekend as I was invited on a hunting trip (grimmlings).

Hopefully I will be posting GM status soon :P
