Need basic skillup info on 203+ on bows

Ok after an incredibly frustrating session of making 100 mithril champion arrow combines and getting 8 successes and 1 skill point, I had a brilliant thought... FIND ANOTHER WAY.

Ok, I have never made a bow combine so I am going to ask a couple of stupid questions. I WOULD just go try it but its patch day and I have burning questions that I need to answer for myself.

First, it seems to me that to go to 215 skill, I can put a Darkwood staff and a hemp string in a kit and combine - rinse and repeat until skill 215 is attained. Is that all that needs to go in the kit for the combine??

Then it seems that I can do Darkwood staff, 2 cams and hemp to 235 skill.

Finally shaped wood and hemp to 250.

I am looking for simple, fast method of skilling up.

For the experienced fletcher, a question, how many combines and how many hours SHOULD this take. Is there a better way? I am not concerned on taking the cheapest route, after running back and forth from Felwithe and the cultural forge and all the crap I had to do to prepare for making those arrows (baddass arrows however), I want to skill up and move on.

Bows are fast and simple. (Note that you didn't mention "cheap".)

The recipies are listed on the site - they are whatever is written. I'm not sure why you would think that wasn't all that needed to go in the kit (for the darkwood for instance).

As for how many hours it should take, I don't know. I got my fletching maxed before the Great Nerf so my information would be valueless.

There is no fast way :? . Bows have the advantage that all the compomets are vender supplied, but staves and strings do not stack so have a lot of room to work with or be prepared to do a lot of swapping and selling in and out. Also expect to go through a LOT of plat as the staves are expensive, and the buy back does not cover the cost on a sucsessfull combine. I am in no particular hurry so am skilling up on acrylia myself. Just what i farm when i can and i shoot the arrows i make so am not makeing any money doing it.

If you have 100k to spend on fletching, you can go from202 to 250 with bows. Otherwise you farm acrylia like the rest of us =).
