Seru Bow

What are the components required to make a Seru bow and what are the stats.

Its actually a Serubane bow. The stats are 30/35 with Serubane damage(sorry, when I was researching this the speed of the bow was what I wanted;I don't recall the amount of Bane damage on the bow). The bow is NO DROP, so the end user has to fletch it. The components to make it are not no-drop, though. This is the results of the research I did. I have been unable to complete one due to a lack of fungoid sap(I found ONE on an NPC merchant). I have lost the links that I found some of the information through, but look up the ingredients(fungoid sap) in Alla's and there is a writeup on the OTHER serubane weapons there.

the ingredients for the bow:
one oak bow staff
one silk string
one planing tool
one yttrium sheet metal
one vial of quicksilver temper

possible 175 skill needed in fletching

The Quicksilver Temper ingredients:
Shissar blood
Shiknar Ichor
Fungoid sap
Meteor dust

about 240 skill brewing

the Yttrium sheet metal ingredients:
2 small blocks of yttrium ore
Quicksilver temper

about 250 skill smithing

As I said before, I have been unable to complete one due to my inability to find more than one(ONE) fungoid sap. Fungoid sap drops in the Deep from ancient shriekers, Shiknar Ichor drops in Fungus Grove, Meteor dust drops in the Grey. Yttrium, Meteor dust, and shissar blood I have seen for sale on traders in the bazaar. Shiknar Ichor and fungoid sap I have never seen in the bazaar; I have found them on NPC merchants though(RARE!).

Is that the true trivial? Seems kind of low for a bow with such components.

The flething trivial is around 175, but that is because the result is no-drop.

The brewing and smithing trivials are MUCH higher, but the temper and the sheet metal are droppable.

Uhh yeah but a PoP bow won't hit Seru, heh. You seem to be missing the point of making this bow.

Having only restarted six weeks ago (and gotten SoL and PoP 2 weeks ago), I can't say for sure, but I'd guess they're things that show up in Marus Seru and the like

From what I understand of the Bane Dmg things, it's a modifier against them, kinda like D&D's Longsword +4 vs orcs

So the Yttrium-Imbued Oak Bow is 30/35 for a normal fight, but 40/35 against Seru ...

serubane is used damage lord inquisitor seru, also known as Auron. this is the boss mob of the luclin city sanctus seru, one of the hardest encounters of luclin, as well as being locked behind a big long timesink quest and another timesink to get enough serubane weapons to fight him (similar to emperor ssra in this way). information on seru himself as well as his loot, his zone, the quest to reach and slay him, and the farming, creation and stats of the serubane weapons can be found at http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=7231\
and on the nearby links. of course his picture is much more important than all that if you remember Auron.

before PoP, the serubane bow was actually a very nice ratio bow, and sort of a status symbol as only the highest of the high end guilds actually farmed, made and used them at that time.
