Elemental bows

I have done 10 combines on elemental bows and had 2 successes is this normal? I am hoping this is just a really bad run of luck lately.

My fletching is maxed and I have my trophy but the success rates on these bows is terrible for me. I feel bad when ask me to combine for them and I fail.

I have the same inquiry. For those that have attempted elemental bows - what do you find your success rate is? I have attempted 2 bows for someone and failed both times. I don't expect them to be at all easy to make, but to spend weeks and weeks farming components in the elemental planes just to have a failure.. is disheartening. Makes me feel incredibly bad failing on these. It's like someone giving you their epic to combine and you fail.

Fiend guts for the fire ele bow?

Anyone know where I can find the fiend guts for the fire elemental bow recipe. I've found all the rest of the components but this one. I just need to know if I'm gonna be able to get it solo cause the local uber guild isnt gonna share with.

you wont get it solo, takes a raid =)

Chance for me is around 50/50 with 245 skill and trophy for elemental bow
Compared to that nightmare one is more like 85% chance of success

fiend guts are from fenanin ro ring
a raid is a must

I've attempted:

2 Driftwood bows
4 Obsidianwood bows
3 Stonewood bows
1 Featherwood bow

... all of them were successful except 2 of the obsidianwood ones...

This was at 250 fletching + GM tool ... don't know if the RNG was just rangerhating the day I did the obsidians or if the obsidians just have a higher triv. /shrug

3 Featherwood attempts (2 made, 1 fail)

50/50 overall

250 skill, GM trophy, geerlok, 305 DEX, etc...

Did earth bows in 2 batches. 0/1 and 3/3
Went 3/3 after combining shadewood compounds till i failed one, then did and earth bow combine immediately after. *shrug*.
