Of the six laminated recurves bow combines, only the final combine for the Supple Treant trivials at 288. Everything else is 300+. Just a personal piece of advice given how annoying battle bow cams were to get rounded up for the combines.

ok.. been farming branches + horse hoof for a few days, and omg..
its a lot easier than i ever though it would be!
once the subcombines were done i now see that getting to 300 will be no where near the pain that it was to get tailoring to 300 (still wondering how i did that!)
again: thx for the infoPuzzykhat 76 Vah Bst

finally got around to following the por bow suggestion for this. Got from 282 to 300 in about 3 insane days of famring the horse hoofs and drops from the ents. The rng was a cruel mistress though, given the general rate i was goign per run of supplies i ended up dinging 300 with a ton of extra stuff on me. I am so avoiding blightfire for a long time to come : )Master Artisan

Where is a good spot for farming horse hooves?
One trick for picking up sticks a guildie clued me on to though (it's particularly nice if you have a more mobile toon) is to swing thru Ruins of takish hiz every now and then... there are 4 treants there that can drop sticks and are easy kills. Around the area where they're found there are also 3 relatively easy to spot ground spawns which will sometimes be dry staves.
Once done there pop into Elddar and head west. The ground spawn in the gully near where you come down from the elf area should usually be easy to spot. From there check both sides of the fallen log and you'll occasionally find 2 in one or both/either ends.
The other ground spawns in that area aren't too hard to find if it's a time of day where the ground is pretty bright but that normally takes a lot more effort vs. the other spots. That trip will usually net handful quick if you just do it every now and then like when you get on, after raids etc.Last edited by Mellen; 06-11-2007, 03:52 PM.
