By the gods, there might actually be a USE for all those silly forages in Skyfire? (at some nebulous, unpromised point in the future, of course).

Eventually I expect so.

But It may be a bit. If I throw something together it will be "unfair" because I refuse to add another 300 via vendor path, so it would not be 100% "equivalent"

There already is. To make the BD armor for Veeshan folk, you gotta combine the 4 forages from Skyfire into the gem for Veeshan.

I think they are also used in the Bard 1.5.

Oh, I know about the existing use, but nobody makes that stuff. I had a pack full of crystals at 1PP each for the better part of a year before I gave up on stocking them (I spent a lot of time helping clerics and bards on their 1.0's back in the day).

I meant a use of sufficiently high demand that people might actually consider putting in the required time to craft the completed crystals and market them again.
