  • Fletching 150 vs 200 trophy

Just a note on the difficulty of doing the Fletching 200 and 150 trophies. I remember when the 200 trophy required about 6 rare drake pieces, so dont make the 200 harder, but the 150 is much harder than the 200 now. Now the 150 REQUIRES a tinkering part that is selling for about 3000plat on Tunare, if your lucky and one is up. So it in no way tests a players tradeskill abilities (i have no tinkerers, tinkering is only reason anyone plays a gnome - but my friend now has a 250 tinkering gnome in case this comes up again). The 150 trophy forces a player to test somebody elses tradeskill ability and buy what others have done. I skipped the 150 and did the 200 trophy. just a thought.

Read some of the comments in the other thread here, they are good ideas one how to get one. The items are always returned on success or failure and if you are going to continue fletching it might be a good idea to keep one banked.

That said, Tunare is my server as well. If you gather up the parts, feel free to send Gorse a tell in the evening Eastern time if you see me on, I can do the combines for you.

      already done.

Thanks for noting other avenues for obtaining the geerlok. but i already bypassed them and got the trophy. Anything to avoid gnomes and the seedy tinking only assisted tradeskill items :-). (btw; my cohort in eq crime already made a gnome and we farmed him to about 250 in skill, so we have all the tradeskills covered now, except those race/class combines that we dont have.)
