Need help with skillups

My husband's level 67 half-elf (Tunare) ranger is having trouble skillig up his fletching. Aside from the expense, he has to solo often so farming for components for combines above 235 is next to impossible. Why are Karana worshippers given such an easy path (Steel arrowheads or Blessed Steel arrowheads) and Tunare worshippers have to work so much harder?

Anyway what would be a realistic path for him to take? Thanks.

Stick with the arcylia arrows till they trival then do the PoR bows:-)

For acrylia arrows, you'll get the best drop rate in acrylia caverns. Save the weapons that drop there too, they sell for 100pp+. You may want to do your Expert smithing quest while you're there; it requires killing grimlings and looting their corpses, might as well kill two birds with one stone.

Condensed shadows are most easily farmed off alien guys that live underground in Shadeweaver's Thicket. Half the time they're up, kill their PHs the other half.

The alien guys are on a spawn time of day and night. If it is day time on Norrath they will not be the correct aliens that you need for it. I spent many hours camping them and always had a bot or a friend that was on the main planet tell me what time it was so I knew what mobs I would have next.

When it's 4 pm game time, I go into killing spree in shadeweaver to get rid of ph's and I'm able to clear about 2/3 of the cave network before the repops starts. Then I kill everything I can find until the grey one starts popping. Often get 2-3 stacks per game night this way.

Shadow tipped arrow is one of the easiest fletching in mid 200's range.
