I posted this in a thread in the submissions forum and realized after that it might be more appropriate in here:
You may not have verified these, but there are additional bows in each series. I'll have to get onto my toon after the patch to post the details but here is an outline sketch.
You can do two things with a branch: plane it or laminate it.
for example: planing tool + dry treant branch = dessicated treant bow staff
-OR-
geerlok laminating device + laminator blade + dry treant branch = dessicated treant laminate x2
You can make bows with each of these, there's just an extra step to making the bow staff with the laminate that is high trivial. In general the more complex the staff, the higher the trivial. There are three types of staffs, using the dry treant branch as the example:
Dessicated Treant Bow Staff = planed dry branch
Dessicated Treant Laminate Bow Staff = laminated with one roller
Dessicated Treant Laminate Recurve Bow Staff = laminated with two rollers
Each of these can be made in recurve, 1-cam, and compound varieties. Again using dry branches as an example there are 9 bows:
Dessicated Treant Bow
Dessicated Treant 1-Cam Bow
Dessicated Treant Compound Bow
Dessicated Treant Laminate Bow
Dessicated Treant Laminate 1-Cam Bow
Dessicated Treant Lamiante Compound Bow
Dessicated Treant Laminate Recurve Bow
Dessicated Treant Laminate Recurve 1-Cam Bow
Dessicated Treant Laminate Compound Bow
This is also true for straight treant branches (Supple Treant) and straight oak treant branches (Oak Treant). For the composite bows there are no base level bows, only laminates. I have not confirmed that the composites can be laminated with a single roller:
(laminated with 1 roller? - unconfirmed)
Composite Treant Laminate Bow
Composite Treant Laminate 1-Cam Bow
Composite Treant Laminate Compound Bow
(laminated with 2 rollers)
Composite Treant Laminate Recurve Bow
Composite Treant Laminate Recurve 1-Cam Bow
Composite Treant Laminate Recurve Compound Bow
I assume this is also true for bows using the Druzzil's Steel Bowstring, but I cannot confirm that. I do know that there are at LEAST 3 (the recurve series all can be made with zero, one, and two cams) The end result is that there are 33 - 39 actual bow recipes. We still have a lot of combines to confirm. I have many in my fletching kit right now but not all. Some of the names may be out of order in this post but I'm doing it in my patch-boredom and don't have my kit in front of me.
