Were these added as another source to make battle cams? I haven't tried any combines with them yet, but I know are new from the last patch.

Yep.
Made some cams today with 'sundered blade shards'. My guess would be that they have had their name changed so that folks don't get them confused with the 'sundered blade' that drops in Gunthak.Qtpie

Why would you want to make the blade from the shards? The blades and shards are interchangeable in the Cam Recipe.Sunburnt Dmize - 80 Druid - D-Ro
