Druzzil's Steel Bowstring

"I did think of a new way to make a better string. Soak a favor with Druzzil's mark in purified mana, and without taking it from the kit use your whittling blade to cut it in strips and weave it into the steel thread. This new string will only work with composite staves and will add to the effectiveness of the bow in many ways."

FYI the recipe for Druzzil's Composite Treant Laminated Compound Bow is;

Anyone have any ideas what a favor with Druzzil's mark would be?

Just because it's not marked yet, don't give up on it. It may still work. Try it, it just won't combine if it doesn't work.

Will try those combinations shortly. You you think when it says "kit" it means Fletching Kit or a Tailoring Kit?

Servers dropped but before they did i tried:

shimmering steel bow string
favor of druzil
vial of purified mana

and

shimmering steel bow string

vial of purified mana X2
whittling blade

in a fletching kit (pop fletching kit) and it did not work

Will try the other combine as soon as servers come back up again.

Are we confirmed that this is the correct combine? And it is combined in a fletching kit correct? Where again did you say Favor of Druzzil dropped (which mobs in Arcstone -- anyone find any since the 15th's patch)? I snagged mine out of the bazaar out of sheer hope it was the right item before servers dropped.

I made this a couple hours before servers came down. It is correct. I used a Collapsible Fletching Kit. Far as the Favors go I've found all the ones I have gotten so far on merchants, can't confirm mob drops sorry.

We have two different trivials reported in this thread, 200 and 250. Could someone confirm and post, please?

Also, is the whittling blade returned on success or fail?

Has anyone tried combining the other favor drops to see if we get different stats/effects? I've seen Favor of Sullon and Tunare drops available in Bazaar but have yet to try them yet. I think our ranger journal just reports Druzzil because he was in Arcstone.
