  • Fletching book

For those of you too lazy to bring 3 parchments and a quill to Arcstone, here's the full text of the fletching book.

Now just to figure out what all these gnomish contraptions he describes are.

These recipes are also ot more complex than what we're used to.

I'm stuck on the glue (no pun intended).

I can't figure out how to grind the horse hoof. I have 2 of them and have tried them in seperated and together in mortar&pestle as well as mixing bowl. I've tried throwing in varying numbers of Grinding Powder. I've tried combining in kiln with acid (like making gem powder). No luck so far.

No. Tried that already. Tried to brew it with the stated ingredients and didn't work. Which makes sense. You wouldn't brew a solid object... you'd grind it to a powder then mix it with your liquid... just like it says.

Ok, despite the text showing it taking 3 steps, I got it to work by combining them all in a brew barrel in a single step. Was going to try that last night but was falling asleep at the keyboard and didn't feel like running to Abysmal.

                  a bow recepe

3 different branches dry branch, staight treant branch, straight oak treant branch, make them laminent forms (branch+device+blade)

2 rollers+device+2 supple branches and 1 of each of the others in laminent form + the good glue at the end of the story, or near the end

good glue=vial of purified mana+acid wash+limestone+horse hoof+LQ horse skin (composite treant laminating adhesive)brewery

2 battle cams + 1 shimmering steel bow string + 1 recurve bow made from the 4 branch combine above should make for an interesting bow, I have not figured out the solution to remove the proc..

Just a quick question: besides being thorough and finding the recipe...why would you want to remove the proc? It's a lifetap against the target, right?

Only rangers would want to remove it cuz it's a DD and will break root on solo-ing, however, i find it like this, in soloing, rangers do have root

Any hints on the battle cam material? Not sure on the metal source and about to go experimenting.

Hmm.. foraged about 50 times in devastation and got only food and drink. Nothing that comes even close to the book's description of a broken metal that used to be a blade.
