Taelosian Rock

Greetings.

First, sorry to start a new thread, but kept recieving a 'Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator' error message everytime I hit 'post' on threads I found from using the Search feature.

Finally decided to take the TS plunge and did all the GoD freebie quests. I hung in there on all of them until I got the ability to refine the various Taelosian/Discordian stuff. I've set my sights on becoming a GM fletcher, and am at that ackward skill level of 201. I see the GoD arrows are the way to go, but for some oddball reason, there's not a lot of Taelosian/Discordian items in the bazaar on my server (Stromm) and vendor diving hasn't proved particulary fruitful either.

I've never hunted GoD zones--in fact, my first time in a GoD zone was the Freebie TS quests. Looking over the available information leads me to believe if I wanted to farm the Taelosian rock, Natimbi would work fine for my level+gear+AA. I figure I won't see the Discordian anytime soon as neither my guild nor I have much interest in the instanced GoD zones.

Thus, after that longwinded explanation, is it feasible to farm the taelosian rocks or are drops so rare, I'll end up having nightmares about the zone?

Also, any general comments or advice much appreciated but not necessary.

Actually by farming in Natimbi, you will get many things which are useable. Chuncks of taelosian rock may be the only one you are after, but there are plenty pf people after other things, maybe not in your guikd ( thought I bet different) but anything you find, that you don't want you can Bazaar. Tea leaves, hides, muramite scales, chunks of broken taelosian stone workers, etc.

Thanks for the reply Elyssanda. I found much to my chagrin, I was mispelling Taelosian when searching in the bazaar.

However, the prices made my eyes bug out a bit. I figured 50-75 plat a piece, but folks are selling this stuff for 100+.

So, went to Natimbi and danged if you didn't nail it right--all sorts of tradeskill stuff drops. However, I was delighted whent 2 chunks of taelosian rock and 1 raw pale nihlite dropped. Wasn't really going into mass slaughter overdrive, just feeling my way around zone and testing the critters.

Not a bad little zone really, had it to myself except for some folks passing through, and, I got a named on my 3rd kill.

I do think my fears of the drops being a bit on the slim side of things aren't as bad as I imagined, but I don't think they're gonna drop like rain in the Karanas neither. =)
