Range: 5 (!!!!) Arrows

I noticed this a while back, but it looks like it's never been corrected. A number of GoD/OoW/DoN-era crafted arrows have Range: 5, which makes them near useless (is that inside the too-close boundary for ranged weapons?). For an example, see http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=75500. I suspect most of these were supposed to be Range: 75 but suffered from a bad copy/paste somewhere along the line.

Has anyone ever seen a comment from a developer about this issue, and whether it would eventually be corrected or not?

Well they are lame but not useless, since range is the sum of a bow's range plus the arrow's range. Since the bow, presumably, gets you out of the "too close" range, the arrows will work, just not very well.

I'd still argue that they're broken as is and should be fixed.

In the original run of arrows for fletching, there were quite a few that were range 0.

If your arrow range is 5, and your bow range is 250... your range would be 255, far from useless. If you have a bow with minimal range, then yes.. the arrows almost nil range would be annoying, but it's not broken. There are no bows with 0 range (that can be used).
