I have had a hard time finding any consistent information as to what mobs drop these in Plane of Air. This is probably due to it being primarily a raid zone. Anyone know a good solo/duo/groupable place to farm them, or any info on the mobs?

the staffs drop off any of the bug/birdmen looking things.theres lots of em all over the zone. -

They drop off: a mischievous stormrider and a stormrider lightningclaw (flying bugs) and they can be duoed/grouped. But just be careful of the wanderers

Ah, but how does one get TO them to duo/group them?
I can't convince anyone to even set foot in Air, these days. Between the fact that you are likely to spawn that idiot epic mob if you fight any of the entrance area armors, plus the fact that its almost impossible to get from ZI to ramp WITHOUT fighting any of the entrance area armors, plus the fact that the entrance area armors spawn babies who can't be slowed, ZI ---> ramp is just too big a pain in the arse. Haven't managed to talk a group into going in there in a year, probably.

If you're really amazingly patient, there are a couple mobs that wander close to zone in. You could wait for them. Some of them are even the flying turkeybugs.Chase
